PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN LANSIA

DENGAN PENYAKIT ASAM URAT DI DESA ATANG JUNGKET KECAMATAN BIES
KABUPATEN ACEH TENGAH

ABSTRAK

Peningkatan kadar asam urat dalam darah memang tidak terlalu dirasakan oleh tubuh. Hal ini
yang dapat menyebabkan lansia yang minim akan pengetahuan dan mempunyai sikap acuh
tentang kesehatan tubuhnya sendiri karena kebiasaan makan makanan yang mengandung purin.
Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan lansia
dengan penyakit asam urat di Desa Atang Jungket Kecamatan Bies Kabupaten Aceh Tengah.
Metode penelitian ini quasi eksperimental dengan desain one grup pre test dan post test.
Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 17 orang dengan mengunakan tehnik total sampling.
Berdasrkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pengetahuan responden sebelum pendidikan
kesehatan tentang penyakit asam urat mayoritas kurang yaitu 9 responden (52,9%). Pengetahuan
responden sesudah pendidikan kesehatan tentang penyakit asam urat mayoritas cukup yaitu 10
responden (58,8%). Ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan lansia dengan
penyakit asam urat di Desa Atang Jungket Kecamatan Bies Kabupaten Aceh Tengah dengan
nilai p value=0,000. Diharapkan Responden yang sudah mendapatkan pendidikan kesehatan
diharapkan dapat menjaga kesehatannya dari kekambuhan penyakit asam urat tinggi dengan cara
diet dan penanganan yang sudah diajarkan sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidupnya
menjadi lebih baik.

THE INFLUENCING OF THE EDUCATIONAL HEALTH TOWARD THE ELDERLY

WITH HYPERURICEMIA AT DESA ATANG JUNGKET, BIES DISTRICT, CENTRAL
ACEH.

ABSTRACT

The increasing levels of uric acid in the blood are not felt by the body. It can cause the elderly
who lack the knowledge and have an unusual habit about the health of their bodies. It caused by
the food that their consumption contains purines. The purpose of this study is to know the
influencing of the educational health of elderly with hyperuricemia at Desa Atang Jungket. Bies,
Aceh central. The methodology of the study is Experimental in Quasai through pre-test and post-
test. The population is 17 respondents. It used total sampling. Based on the results of the study, it
was found that the majority of respondents' knowledge before health education about gout was 9
respondents (52.9%). The majority of respondents' knowledge after health education about gout
was 10 respondents (58.8%). There is an influence of health education on the knowledge of the
elderly with gout in Atang Jungket Village, Bies District, Central Aceh Regency with a p-value =
0,000. It is expected that respondents who have received health education are expected to be able
to maintain their health from the recurrence of high gout through diet and treatment that have
been taught to improve their quality of life for the better.
