Mesin 4 Tak
Mesin 4 Tak
Intake manifold, saluran udara bersih menuju ruang bakar
Langkah buang berlangsung seusai piston terkena ekspansi pembakaran (piston mencapai TMB).
Lalu, siklus
selanjutnya kembali berlangsung.
Mesin diesel 2 tak dan 4 tak memiliki beberapa persamaan antara lain ;
4 stroke engine
A four stroke engine is an internal combustion engine in which four combustion cycles occur
piston stroke. Four stroke engine, first patented by Eugenio Barsanti and Felice
Matteucci in 1854, followed by the first prototype in 1860. Such machines too
drafted by the French technician, Alphonse Beau de Rochas in 1862. But the technician
Germany, Nicolaus Otto was the first to develop the use of a four-stroke engine, because of this
the four stroke principle in the engine is known as the Otto cycle and the four stroke engine with
spark plugs
• Piston
• Cylinder head, all circulating air (both clean air / exhaust gas) is inside the head
cylinder
• Cylinder block, 4 stroke cylinder block form does not have intake holes (like 2 stroke)
• Suction valve, functions as a valve to enter the air into the combustion chamber
The suction stroke takes place when the piston moves from TDC to TMB, this causes enlargement
volume.
The compression stroke takes place after the suction stroke where the piston moves from the TMB
to TDC to reduce the volume of the combustion chamber, so that the reduction of the combustion
chamber has an impact onincrease in temperature and air pressure in the combustion chamber.
This step occurs when the injector squirts a certain amount of diesel fuel into the filled combustion
chambercompressed air and high temperature. The result of this combustion is in the form of
expansion pushing the piston moves from TDC to TMB.
The exhaust step takes place after the piston is exposed to combustion expansion (the piston
reaches the TMB). The piston moves from TMB to TDC with the exhaust valve open, pushing the
residual gas combustion exits the combustion chamber to the exhaust manifold. After the piston
reaches TDC,the exhaust valve is closed, the piston moves back to the TMB and the exhaust valve
opens. Then, cycle then back in progress.
3. Both use the expansion power that drives the piston as the main power machine
4. Both use the crank mechanism to change the up and down motion of the piston into a circular
motion
1. The cycle length of a 2 stroke engine is only one revolution, while a 4 stroke engine is two
revolutions
2. 2 stroke diesel engine has only one valve while 4 stroke has two
3. The 2 stroke cylinder block has an intake hole, while the 4 stroke does not exist.
