ABSTRAK
Penggunaan APD lengkap merupakan suatu keharusan bagi tenaga
kesehatan termasuk tenaga perawat untuk mencegah penularan infeksi covid-19,
karena tidak setiap orang yang tertinfeksi covid-19 menunjukkan gejala yang
signifikan. Fenomena yang ditemukan masih banyak ditemukan perawat yang
terinfeksi Covid-19 saat memberikan asuhan keperawatan termasuk di wilayah
kerja Puskesmas Singkarak, dimana terdapat 1 kasus perawat yang terinfeksi
Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang
berhubungan dengan tingkat kepatuhan perawat dalam pemakaian APD untuk
pencegahan infeksi Covid-19 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Singkarak Kabupaten
Solok Tahun 2020.
Rancangan penelitian ini deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional
study. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2020. Populasi pada
penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat yang ada di wilayah kerja Puskesmas
Singkarak yaitu sebanyak 28 orang, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik
total sampling dengan besaran sampel sebanyak 28 responden. Pengumpulan data
pada menggunakan instrumen penelitian. Analisis data meliputi analisis univariat
yang dilakukan secara komputerisasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 78,6% responden adalah perawat
yang berpendidikan rendah, 67,9% dengan masa kerja > 5 tahun, 53,6%
berpengetahuan baik, 60,7% dengan sikap positif, 53,6% menyatakan sarana APD
cukup dan 57,1% tidak patuh dalam penggunaan APD. Variabel yang
berhubungan dengan kepatuhan penggunaan APD adalah sikap ( p = 0,006),
sedangkan variabel pendidikan, masa kerja, pengetahuan dan kelengkapan sarana
tidak berhubungan dengan kepatuhan penggunaan APD ( p > 0,05).
Disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara sikap dengan kepatuhan
penggunaan APD untuk pencegahan infeksi Covid-19. Maka dari itu, diharapkan
kepada perawat untuk selalu menunjukkan respon sikap positif tentang pentingnya
penggunaan APD di masa pandemic, agar tidak terjadi penularan infeksi covid-19
dari perawat ke pasien maupun sebaliknya.

ABSTRACT
The use of complete PPE is a must for health workers including nurses to
prevent the transmission of covid-19 infection. Not of every person infected with
Covid-19 shows significant symptoms. The phenomenon found that nurses who
were infected with Covid-19 while providing nursing care, including in the work
area of Singkarak Community Health Center. There was 1 case of a nurse infected
with Covid-19. This study aimed to determine Factors Related to the Level of
Compliance of Nurses in Using PPE for Covid-19 Infection Prevention of in
Singkarak Community Health Center Working Area, Solok Regency, 2020.
The type of this study was descriptive with cross sectional study
approach. It was conducted on December 2020. The population was all nurses in
the working area of Singkarak Community Health Center. They were 28 people.
28 respondents. were chosen by using total sampling technique. The data were
collected through instruments. Then, it was analyzed by computerization by using
univariate analysis.
The results showed that 78.6% of respondents had lack education, 67.9%
with service period of> 5 years, 53.6% had good knowledge, 60.7% had positive
attitude, 53.6% stated that the PPE facilities were sufficient and 57.1% did not
comply with the use of PPE. The variables related to compliance with the use of
PPE were attitude (p = 0.006), while the variables of education, years of service,
knowledge and completeness of the facilities were not related to compliance with
the use of PPE (p> 0.05).
In short, it is concluded that there was a correlation between attitude and
compliance toward use of PPE for the prevention of Covid-19 infection.
Therefore, it is hoped that nurses show positive attitude response about the
importance of using PPE during a pandemic so that there is no transmission of
Covid-19 infection from nurses to patients or vice versa.
