3.1. Bagian-Bagian Listening TOEFL

3.2. Strategi Umum Mengerjakan Soal Listening

▪ Memahami petunjuk umum dalam listening.

▪ Dengarkan rekaman percakapan baik-baik.
▪ Familiar dengan bentuk soal dari setiap bagian.
▪ Tidak mengosongkan jawaban.
3.3. Strategi Umum Part A

❖ Fokus pada orang kedua

❖ Pada umumnya jawaban yang benar adalah pengulangan kata, frasa, atau ide yang disampaikan
oleh orang kedua.
❖ Ingat, beberapa susunan kalimat dan ungkapan akan diujiankan pada bagian ini.
❖ Tingkat soal berpola mudah ke sulit.
❖ Baca pilihan jawaban dan tentukan jawaban berdasarkan petunjuk diatas, dan jangan biarkan
jawaban kosong.
❖ Sekalipun kamu tidak memahami semua percakapan, kamu masih bisa menjawab dengan benar
asal kamu bisa menangkap maksud pada orang kedua.
❖ Estimasi waktu dari satu soal ke soal berikutnya adalah 10-12 detik, pastikan kamu tidak terlalu
lama dalam menentukan jawaban.

❖ Terdiri dari percakapan sehari-hari, percakapan tentang pendidikan, dan ceramah.

❖ Satu percakapan diikuti oleh beberapa pertanyaan.
❖ Cari topik percakapan.
❖ Dengarkan baik-baik baris pertama percakapan.
❖ Biasanya informasi tentang topik, gagasan utama, subyek yang sering ditanyakan berada di baris
awal.
❖ Sembari mendengarkan, carilah informasi tentang, siapa yang berbicara, dimana dan kapan
