Ryujin, whose real name is Shin Ryujin, is a South

Korean singer, rapper, and dancer. She was born
on April 17, 2001, in Gwangju, South Korea. Ryujin
gained widespread recognition as a member of
the highly popular girl group ITZY, formed by JYP
Entertainment in 2019.

Before her debut, Ryujin showcased her talent

and charisma as a contestant on the reality
competition show "Mix Nine" in 2017-2018. Her
impressive dancing skills and stage presence
made her stand out during the show, attracting
attention from both viewers and industry
professionals.

In February 2019, Ryujin made her official debut

as a member of ITZY with their debut single
"DALLA DALLA." The song's success catapulted
