Seong Beom Park ditemukan dalam kondisi masih mengenakan gendongan bayi .
Tim Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) telah berhasil mengidentifikasi jasad suami-istri warga Negara
Korea Selatan (Korsel), yang turut menjadi korban AirAsia QZ8501.
Kedua jenazah itu berlabel B047, Kyung Hwa Lee (34) dan B048, Seong Beom Park (37). Keduanya baru
selesai diidentifikasi Minggu kemarin 11 Januari 2014.
Tim DVI Polda Jawa Timur mengatakan pasangan suami-istri ini teridentifikasi mengenakan tambalan gigi emas.
Pada jenazah Kyung Hwa Lee, melekat bra khusus ibu menyusui, sedangkan suaminya, Seong Beom Park masih mengenakan gendongan bayi.
Berdasarkan rekam CCTV di Bandara International Juanda Surabaya di Sidoarjo, sebelum berangkat ke Singapura menumpang AirAsia QZ8501,
Park terlihat tengah menggendong bayinya.Sayangnya, saat kedua jenazah pasangan suami-istri ini ditemukan dan berhasil diidentifikasi,
bayi mereka Yuna Park belum berhasil ditemukan.
Diketahui, jenazah Lee dan Park ditemukan dalam kondisi duduk di kursi penumpang dan masih terikat sabuk keselamatan, Jumat 9 Januari.
Keduanya ditengarai berusaha melindungi bayinya dengan cara memeluknya, saat pesawat jatuh.

INTERPOL SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH DVI SOFTWARE COMPANY PLASS DATA
VICTIM IDENTIFICATION COMPUTER PROGRAMME TO AID WORLD’S POLICE
LYON, France – Interpol has signed an agreement with software company Plass Data giving the world’s police free use of the
technology currently being used to help identify victims of the Asian tsunami.
The five-year deal will mean that Interpol’s Incident Response Teams deployed to assist member countries following any major
disaster will be equipped with the latest version of the software.
Using Interpol’s Disaster Victim Identification forms, the Plass Data DVI System International software enables investigators to
input both ante-mortem and postmortem data which is then analysed and compared to enhance the matching process and assist the
identification of victims.
“Interpol’s Disaster Victim Identification forms are already recognised and used as the global standard in identifying victims of
major disasters,” said Interpol Secretary General Ronald K. Noble. “Having direct access to Plass Data at the scene of a disaster will
enable investigators to immediately begin inputting data which will greatly help the identification process.
“The software will also be installed at the General Secretariat in Lyon, so that member countries gathering ante-mortem data on
possible victims will have a direct 24-hour point of contact for sending this information via our Command and Co-ordination Centre.
“The need to quickly, and more importantly accurately, identify victims so that they can be returned to their loved ones is always
the absolute priority for all DVI teams, and Interpol providing this additional service to our National Central Bureaus in member
countries will mean this essential task can be completed with the utmost efficiency,” said Mr Noble.
“We are delighted to have reached this agreement with Interpol, which will help police around the world and so also the families
of victims of major disasters,” said Plass Data Development manager Claus Hoffenblad. “We have worked for many years to make
the Plass Data software as relevant and useful as possible to DVI teams carrying out what is an extremely difficult task, and this

The Plass Data system currently assists the identification process by matching dental records as well as physical or medical
characteristics, such as tattoos or hip replacements to be matched.
Interpol specialists are now set to work with the Denmark-based company to further develop the software so that additional
information, such as fingerprints and DNA can also be inputted and recognised as identifying characteristics.
