JURNAL
Stress yang dialami pasien kanker payudara berupa kekhawatiran, takut dan frustasi baik
setelah didiagnosa, sebelum operasi, selama dan setelah operasi serta ketika menjalani terapi.
Stres dapat dimanifestasikan secara langsung melalui perubahan fisiologis dan psikologis.
Gejala yang dirasakan seperti sedih, gelisah, sulit konsentrasi, sulit tidur, otot-otot tubuh
terasa tegang, badan terasa lemas, letih dan tidak berdaya, serta kesulitan dalam beraktifitas.
Gangguan ini juga menimbulkan dampak emosi negatif berupa ketakutan akan kematian dan
kecemasan kepada penderita. Emosi negatif pada pasien kanker payudara harus di atasi
dengan penanganan yang berdampak positif dalam kesejahtraan psikologis dan spiritual
pasien untuk mengurangi stressor. Salah satu cara penanganan yang dapat digunakan untuk
mengatasi stressor pada pasien kanker payudara adalah dengan menerapkan terapi Spiritual
Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT).

Jumlah sampel sebanyak 24 responden yang terdiri dari 12
kelompok intervensi dan 12 kelompok kontrol dengan
teknik purposive sampling.
 INTERVENSI

Spiritual emotional freedom technique SEFT merupakan suatu teknik yang

menggabungkan antara spiritualitas berupa doa, keikhlasan dan kepasrahan, dengan
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) yang memanfaatkan sistem energi tubuh untuk
membantu memperbaiki kondisi pikiran, emosi, dan perilaku. Berbagai emosi negatif dapat
diatasi dengan menerapkan terapi SEFT melalui sugesti kalimat yang berupa doa dan
ketukan ringan dengan dua ujung jari (tapping) di bagian tubuh tertentu . Terapi SEFT
sangat mudah dilakukan dengan 3 tahapan sederhana, yaitu set-up, tune-in dan tapping.
Teknik ini sangat udah dilakukan dan juga efektif menurunkan tingkat stress pada pasien
kanker dengan kelompok intervensi/perlakuan.

Jurnal “pengaruh terapi spiritual emotional freedom

payudara”

HASIL:
Terdapat perbedaan tingkat stres sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan SEFT pada
kelompok intervensi (p-value = 0,000). Pada kelompok kontrol tidak terdapat
perbedaan tingkat stres sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan seft (p-value = 0,063),
sedangkan untuk tingkat stres sesudah dilakukan seft antara kelompok
intervensi dan kelompok kontrol terdapat perbedaan penurunan tingkat stres
antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol setelah diberikan perlakuan
(p value = 0,000). Pemberian terapi seft memiliki pengaruh yang bermakna
terhadap penurunan tingkat stres pasien kanker payudara pada kelompok
intervensi.

Hasil:
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stres pada pasien kanker serviks turun
secara bermakna setelah intervensi. Hasil independent t-test menunjukkan bahwa
SEFT bermakna menurunkan stres pasien kanker serviks dengan perbedaan
rerata selisih pre-posttest sebesar 18,02, p-value 0,000 (95 % CI 14,117- 21,882).
 Komparasi pada jurnal ini antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok intervensi

Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) merupakan salah satu teknik terapi yang dapat menurunkan emosi negatif pasien
termasuk stres dan gejala yang menyertai. Saat pelaksanaan SEFT, pasien diminta menceritakan semua perasaan negatif yang dialami
selama menderita kanker serviks, dan bersamaan dengan hal itu terjadi katarsis atau proses pengeluaran perasaan/beban emosi negatif pada
pasien. teknik katarsis dapat dilakukan dengan menceritakan masalah yang sedang dihadapi sehingga perasaan menjadi lebih rileks dan
tenang. Di samping itu, saat pelaksanaan SEFT, pasien juga diminta berdoa kepada Tuhan, sehingga hati menjadi tenang, karena doa
efektif menurunkan stres.
Secara statistik terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna pada tingkat stres pasien kanker payudara pada kelompok intervensi sebelum dan
sesudah diberikan terapi SEFT.
Aspek penting dari penatalaksanaan stres adalah kemampuan pola coping individu. Pemberian intervensi SEFT merupakan salah
satu penatalaksanaan yang dapat membantu meningkatkan pola coping responden. Pada kelompok kontrol, perlakuan terapi tidak diberikan
karena responden dalam kelompok ini dijadikan sebagai subjek pembanding dari kelompok intervensi.
Penyebab stres responden dalam penelitian ini adalah emosi negatif akibat ketidakmampuan dalam mengatasi ancaman psikologis yang
ditimbulkan oleh kondisi penyakit kanker payudara yang dikenal sebagai penyakit mematikan. Emosi negatif yang menjadi stressor bagi
responden tersebut adalah kekhawatiran yang mendalam mengenai efek samping dari pengobatan yang sedang dijalani serta merasa belum
siap dalam menerima penyakit kanker yang diderita
 OUTCOME

Dari hasil penelitian ini terbukti ada pengaruh teknik SEFT terhadap perbedaan tingkat stres
sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan SEFT pada kelompok intervensi (p-value = 0,000). Pada
kelompok kontrol tidak terdapat perbedaan tingkat stres sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan SEFT
(p-value = 0,063), sedangkan untuk tingkat stres sesudah dilakukan SEFT antara kelompok
intervensi dan kelompok kontrol terdapat perbedaan penurunan tingkat stres antara kelompok
intervensi dan kelompok kontrol setelah diberikan perlakuan (pvalue = 0,000).

Dari pemaparan diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa Spiritual emotional freedom technique (SEFT)
dapat digunakan sebagai penatalaksanaan untuk menurunkan tingkat stres dan membantu untuk
meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien kanker payudara. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa p-value
0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh SEFT terhadap tingkat stres pada pasien
kanker payudara.
Penelitian ini bisa diterapkan ditempat pelayanan kesehatan karena mudah dilakukan dan tidak
membutuhkan alat, pasien juga dapat melakukan teknik ini secara mandiri.
