Ditimbang kelapa Diukur volume air Dicampur air dan

parut sebanyak 1 kg sebanyak 1 L kelapa parut hingga
( perbandingan air dan menjadi santan
kelapa 1:1 )

Didapatkan santan sebanyak
1,2 L lalu didiamkan santan
yang telah dituang ke dalam
mangkok kaca selama ± 2

Setelah didiamkan selama ± 2

lapisan minyak (atas), kanil /
krim santan (tengah) dan air
(bawah)
Diambil 2 fasa teratas dari
santan dan didapat larutan
sebanyak 170 mL lalu didiamkan
lagi untuk mendapatkan VCO
yang lebih murni

mengandung VCO dapat
terpisah, larutan dibekukan dan
diambil fasa padat yang
mengandung kanil dan VCO yang
lebih murni

dari fasa padat yang telah beku masih tersisa pada VCO
dibiarkan pada suhu ruang agar dipanaskan hingga 60° C lalu
mencair lalu diambil cairan didapat VCO sebanyak xx mL
paling atas
