DEFINISI STABILITAS

Stabilitas obat merupakan kemampuan suatu produk untuk mempertahankan

sifat dan karakteristiknya agar sama dengan pada saat dibuat seperti identitas,
kekuatan, kualitas, dan kemurnian dalam batasan yang ditetapkan sepanjang
periode penyimpanan dan penggunaan (shelf-life)

Untuk produk baru biasanya dilakukan pada suhu kamar yang dikendalikan
(30ºC ± 2ºC) dengan kelembaban ruangan 75% ± 5% kecuali untuk obat yang
peka terhadap suhu dilakukan pada suhu rendah dengan rentang waktu
pengujian pada bulan 0, 3, 9, 12, 18, 24, 36, 48, dan 60.

UJI STABILITAS DIPERCEPAT

Untuk produk baru biasanya dilakukan pada suhu ekstrim yang dikendalikan
(40ºC ± 2ºC) dengan kelembaban ruangan 75% ± 5% kecuali untuk obat yang
peka terhadap suhu dilakukan pada suhu ruangan dengan rentang waktu
pengujian pada bulan 0, 1, 2, 3, dan 6..

Untuk menjamin identitas, kekuatan, kualitas, dan kemurnian produk
yang telah diluluskan dan beredar dipasaran sehingga aman
digunakan

Untuk memberikan data stabilitas terkait bahan baku yang akan

digunakan meliputi :
1. Bentuk sediaan
2. Formulasi bentuk sediaan
3. Metode produksi
4. Penyimpanan bahan
5. Pengemasan produk
6. Tanggal kadaluarsa bahan baku dan produk
TUJUAN UJI STABILITAS

Untuk memberikan data stabilitas terkait sediaan yang

akan digunakan meliputi :
1. Kondisi atau cara penyimpanan produk
2. Uji interval bahan aktif dari bentuk sediaan
3. Tanggal kadaluarsa produk
