ABSTRAK Cakupan partisipasi ibu balita di posyandu di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Payung Sekaki tahun 2009 adalah 53,87%.

Kunjungan ibu balita ke posyandu di Kelurahan Tampan masih tergolong rendah dan strata posyandu masih madya, kegiatan utamanya kurang dari 50%, belum ada program tambahan serta belum adanya dana sehat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh dukungan sosial (dukungan emosional, dukungan instrumental, dukungan informasi dan dukungan penghargaan) terhadap partisipasi ibu balita dalam kegiatan posyandu di Kelurahan Tampan Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Payung Sekaki Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian survei dengan tipe explanatory research yang dilakukan di Kelurahan Tampan wilayah kerja Puskesmas Payung Sekaki Pekanbaru sejak bulan Desember 2010 sampai dengan Agustus 2011. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu yang mempunyai balita yang berkunjung ke posyandu bulan Maret tahun 2011 sebanyak 290 orang, dan sampel 134 orang pengambilan sampel dengan metode simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh 51,4% variasi variabel dukungan emosional, dukungan instrumental dan dukungan informasi berpengaruh terhadap partisipasi ibu balita dalam kegiatan posyandu dengan koefisien regresi pada tingkat kuat. Variabel paling besar pengaruhnya terhadap penentuan partisipasi ibu balita adalah variabel dukungan instrumental. Diharapkan kepada Dinas Kesehatan Pekanbaru untuk dapat lebih melengkapi sarana ataupun alat-alat seperti timbangan, meteran, KMS, kursi yang dibutuhkan dalam pelaksanaan posyandu dan agar meningkatkan pembinaan kepada kader agar lebih professional dalam memantau tumbuh kembang anak serta membangun kemitraan masyarakat untuk meningkatkan dukungan dan memanfaatkan posyandu secara optimal. ABSTRACT The coverage of participation of mothers with children under five-years old in the integrated service post in the working area of Payung Sekaki Health Center in 2009 was 53.87%. The visit of the mothers with children under five-years old in Tampan Village is still low and the stratum of integrated service post was still in average level, its activity was less than 50%. The purpose of this research was to analyze the influence of social support (emotional support, instrumental support, informational support, and reward support) on the participation of mothers with children under five-years old in the activities of the integrated service post in Tampan Village, in the working area of Payung Sekaki Health Center, Pekanbaru. The type of the research was a survey with explanatory research type which was conducted in Tampan Village, in the working area of Payung Sekaki Health Center, Pekanbaru from December 2010 to August 2011. The population of this study were 290 mothers with children under five years old who visited the the integrated service post in March 2011, and 134 of them were selected to be the sample for this study through simple random sampling method. The result of this study showed that emotional, instrumental,and information support had influence on the participation of the mothers with children under fiveyears old for 51.4% respectively in the activities of the integrated service post with strong regression coefficient. The variable which had the biggest influence on the determination of participation of mothers with children under five years old was instrumental support. It is recommended that the Health Service at Pekanbaru is suggested to provide more facilities or equipment such as scales, meter, health progress report (KMS), chairs needed in the implementation of the integrated service post and to improve the development of cadres in order to make them professional in monitoring the growth and development of child and to build partnership with community members to improve the support and to get the optimal use of the integrated service post.
