ABSTRACT
Road Tapaktuan City towards Bakongan is a National Road bound the cities in the
western region to the south of Aceh. The road location is at Batu Hitam,
Tapaktuan South Aceh. The width of the road only 3,5 m to 6 m is situated on
the outskirts of the steep cliffs with height 30 m and slope of the cliff 20 with
deep ravines reaching depths 20 m. Based on data from drilling logs on Sta 2+ 495
and UCS data that the layer of soil in the area such as sandy loam at depth 0,0 m
1,8 m and sedimentary rock such as limestone at a depth 1,8 m 10 m.
Alternative construction of widening of the road is made by a cantilever beam
precast, to keep the balance cantilever beam ground anchor mounted on the cliff
area planted as deep 8,5 m 10,5 m into rock. It is used to restrain tensile force of
the main structure to the soil around the ground anchor. The analysis is done based
on the analysis of loading and analysis of ground anchor, Based on the analysis of
loading obtained of 31,464 ton less than the allowable capacity of tendon of 78,2
ton and ground anchor used sized strands 5@15-mm diameter Grade 270 with
slope 30 while the allowable anchorage capacity of 145 ton and the maximum
design load 130,354 ton.
