Nursing Care on Children with Diarrhea in Melati Room at RSUD dr. R

Diarrhea can be defined as an increase in spending by the consistency of
the stool softer or more liquid than usual, and occurs at least 3 times in 24
hours. In other references mentioned that the definition of diarrhea for
infants and children are spending stool> 10 g / kg / 24 h, while the
average expenditure of normal stools in infants of 5-10 g / kg / 24 hours.
Diarrhea is generally divided into acute diarrhea and continued diarrhea
(chronic and / persistent) (juffrie, 2010). This study aims to determine the
Nursing diarrhea in children in Melati room at RSUD dr. R Koesma Tuban.
The study design used in this case study was nursing care design which
included assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and
evaluation. The unit of analysis used in this study were two pediatric
patients with diarrhea.
