issued by Statistic Coordinator of Subdistric as a planning, policy-making, decisions,
projections, and evaluation of construction materials in this area.

TECHNICAL NOTES
1. Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) telah

melakukan pendataan Potensi Desa
(PODES) sejak tahun 1980. Dalam
kurun waktu 10 tahun, pengumpulan
data Podes dilakukan 3 kali, yaitu
menjelang penyelenggaraan Sensus
Penduduk, Sensus Pertanian dan
Sensus Ekonomi, Pada dekade 19902003 pengumpulan data Podes
dilakukan
bersamaan
dengan
penyelenggaraan sensus, selain itu
pada tahun 1994 dan 1995 pernah
dilakukan berkenaan dengan program
Inpres Desa Tertinggal (IDT). Sejak
tahun 2008 pendataan kegiatan Podes
dilaksanakan
secara
independen
terlepas dari kegiatan sensus, kecuali
adanya pertanyaan-pertanyaan terkait
persiapan suatu sensus yang dikemas
dalam kuesioner modul.

data since 1980. Within one decade,
the activity of PODES data collection
is carried out prior to three census
activities:

Agricultural Census and Economic
Census. With respect to the
implementation of IDT program
(geographic poverty targeting) the
collection of PODES data was ever
carried out in 1994 and 1995. Since
2008 Podes has been carried out
independently
from
the
implementation of census activities,
except for some variables that
related to preparation of census in
Modul Questionnaire.

termasuk nagari atau lainnya yang

pantai/laut (atau merupakan desa
pulau) dengan sumber kehidupan

terletak antara 438 82 Lintang Selatan,
serta antara 1216039 Bujur Timur.
Astronomically, Laeya Subdistrict located

Berdasarkan
posisi
geografisnya,
Kecamatan Laeya memiliki batas - batas
wilayah yaitu: Wolasi, Lainea, Palangga,
Palangga Selatan, Selat Tiworo.
Based on its geographic position, Laeya

Subdistrict have boundaries are : Wolasi,
Lainea , Palangga, PalanggaSelatan,
Selat Tiworo.
Kecamatan Laeya terdiri dari 15 desa dan

2 kelurahan definitif. Dapat dilihat bahwa,
Desa Ambesea memiliki wilayah terluas
yakni 36,65 km, sedangkan Kelurahan
Ambakumina memiliki wilayah terkecil
yang hanya seluas 0,96 km.

1. Sumber utama data kependudukan

adalah Sensus Penduduk yang
dilaksanakan setiap sepuluh tahun
sekali. Sensus Penduduk telah
dilaksanakan sebanyak enam kali
sejak Indonesia merdeka yaitu tahun
1961, 1971, 1980, 1990, 2000 dan
2010. Selain Sensus Penduduk, untuk
menjembatani ketersediaan data
kependudukan diantara dua period
sensus, BPS melakukan Survei
Penduduk Antar Sensus (SUPAS).
SUPAS telah dilakukan sebanyak
empat kali, tahun 1976, 1985, 1995
dan
terakhir
2005.
Data
kependudukan selain. Sensus dan
SUPAS adalahproyeksipenduduk.

Sasaran pembangunan pendidikan

dititikberatkan pada peningkatan mutu
dan perluasan kesempatan belajar di
semua jenjang pendidikan, dimulai dari
kegiatan prasekolah (Taman KanakKanak) sampai dengan Perguruan Tinggi.
Upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan
yang ingin dicapai tersebut dimaksudkan

menghasilkan

Pada tahun ajaran 2015/2016 tercatat

sebanyak 18 unit SD dengan 206 guru
dan 2.329 murid. Rasio guru per sekolah
sebesar 11 (sekitar 11 guru persekolah)
dan rasio murid per guru 14 (rata-rata
satu guru untuk 14 murid). Rasio murid
per sekolah 270 (rata-rata 270 murid per

religion followers are moslem, cristian,
hindu and buddist. The largest are
moslem with 96.29 % population. Next
cristian with 20.03 % poplulation, hindu
with 1.60 % population, and budha with
0.08 % population.
Pada tahun 2015 jumlah rumah ibadah

sekitar 34 buah Mesjid 8 surau, Gereja 3
unit, Pura 4 Unit.

subdistrict is estimated based on the
area harvested in each village in
subdistrict. Food crops productivity
(yield per hectare) data are collected
through the Crop Cutting Survey with
household approach. Productivity data
collection use measuring directly in 2
m x 2 m cutting plot. Productivity
data collection is adapted with time of
farmers harvest.

kecamatan. Pengumpulan data luas

data dari seluruh desa/kelurahan di
kecamatan
bersangkutan.
Pengumpulan data produkt ivitas
tanaman pangan dilakukan secara
sampel melalui survei ubinan dengan
pendekatan rumah tangga. Metode
pengumpulan data produktivitas
menggunakan metode pengukuran
langsung pada plot ubinan yang
berukuran 2 m x 2 m.
Pengumpulan data produktivitas
dilakukan sesuai dengan waktu panen
petani.

2. Land Use
The use of land is classified into 12
categories,
namely:
wetland,
bulidings, and surrounding yard,
wastland/garden,
field/shifting
cultivation,
meadows,
unused
swamp, dykes and water ponds,

forest (state forest), estates and
other land. Land Conversion showed
a dynamics of using land, where
there has been increased in land
use of farm land pond, ponds and

Penggunaan lahan diklasifikasikan

kedalam 12 kategori yaitu; sawah,
tanah pekarangan/ tanah untuk
bangunan dan halaman sekitarnya,
tanah tegal/kebun, tanah ladang/
huma, tanah padang rumput, tanah
rawa yang tidak dapat ditanami, tanah
tambak/kolam/ tebat dan empang,
tanah lahan yang sementara tidak
diusahakan, lahan tanaman kayu kayuan, tanah hutan negara, tanah
perkebunan dan tanah lain -lain.
Konversi lahan menunjukkan adanya
dinamika pemanfaatan tanah, dimana
telah
terjadi
peningkatan
pemanfaatan lahan ladang tambak,
kolam, tebat dan empang. Data lahan
sawah dikumpulkan setiap akhir
tahun,meliputi :
a. Sawah berpengairan teknis
Sawah yang memperoleh pengairan
dimana saluran pemberi terpisah dari
saluran pembuang agar penyediaan
dan
pembagian
irigasi
dapat
sepenuhnya diatur dan diukur dengan
mudah. Jaringan seperti ini biasanya
terdiri dari saluran induk, sekunder
dan tersier. Saluran induk, sekunder
serta bangunannya dibangun, dikuasai
dan dipelihara oleh pemerintah.

dikelompokkan menurut banyaknya
tenaga kerja yang bekerja pada
industri tersebut yaitu; industri besar
dan sedang, industri kecil dan industri
rumahtangga. Perusahaan industri
yang memiliki tenaga kerja 100 orang
atau lebih diklasifikasikan sebagai
perusahaan industri besar, 20 sampai
dengan 99 orang diklasifikasikan
sebagai industri sedang, 5 (lima)

dan kurang dari lima orang adalah
