Heri Kuswanto (12123323), Perancangan Sistem Informasi Akademik Pada

Harvard English Course Singaparna.

Harvard English Course merupakan lembaga pendidikan non formal atau tempat
kursus Bahasa asing untuk tingkatan sekolah menengah pertama dan sekolah
menengah atas, yang mana disini menyediakan les privat bahasa inggris untuk calon
pelajarnya. Selain itu biaya kursus rumah bimbingan belajar ini tergolong cukup
murah yaitu hanya lima ribu rupiah saja per satu pertemuan tanpa mengesampingkan
kualitas pendidikan yang disampaikan. Sistem yang ada pada Rumah Bimbingan
Belajar ini masih dilakukan secara manual, mulai dari pendaftaran, pembayaran SPP,
proses belajar, hingga proses pembuatan laporan, sehingga memungkinkan pada saat
proses berlangsung terjadi kesalahan, kurang akuratnya laporan yang dibuat dan
keterlambatan dalam pencarian data-data yang diperlukan. Komputerisasi sistem dan
sedikit perubahan sistem dengan menggunakan waterfall model yang ada merupakan
usulan dari penulis sebagai solusi yang terbaik untuk memecahkan permasalahan-
permasalahan yang ada pada perusahaan ini, serta dengan sistem yang
terkomputerisasi dapat tercapai suatu kegiatan yang efektif dan efisien dalam
menunjang aktifitas pada perusahaan ini. Maka dari itu dengan sistem yang lebih baik
dari sebelumnya kegiatan manajemen perusahaan menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien.

Course Academic Singaparna.

Harvard English Course is a non-formal educational institution or a foreign

language course for junior levels and High School, which here provides private
course of English to prospective students. Besides, the cost of home tutoring course is
quite cheap just only five thousand rupiah per meeting without discard the quality of
education that being delivered. The existing system on this Home Tutoring is still
manually, from registration, payment of fees, the learning process, until the reporting
process, thereby allowing the error occurs during the process, lack of accurate
statements are made and the delay in the searching of data which needed.
Computerized system and a little changes to the existing system was proposed by the
authors as the best solution to solve the problems that exist in this company, as well
as the computerized system can achieve an activity which more effective and efficient
at supporting the activities of this company. Therefore the system is better than the
previous activities of the management company to be more effective and efficient.
