ABSTRACT
Titration of acid and base is one of analysis methods in analytical chemistry. It uses the
principle of acid and base reaction. In this practice, HCl 0.1N, Na2CO3 0.1N, and methyl
orange indicator have made. Na2CO3 pipetted 10 mL to erlenmeyer. Then three drops of
methyl orange is put to the erlenmeyer, the solution inside the erlenmeyer became
orange. After the titration done, the solution became red. The average volume of HCl
used is 10,3046 mL. The concentration of HCl stardardized is 0,09708N with
standard deviation of 0,0030 .
