INTISARI
Jamur Tiram (Pleurotus ostreatus) sebagai jamur konsumsi sangat popular di
Indonesia. Tahun 2015 diperkirakan terjadi kenaikan pasar sekitar 5% per tahun,
dengan demikian kebutuhan jamur tiram untuk wilayah Indonesia akan naik menjadi
21.900 ton/tahun. Kemampuan petani untuk menyediakan kebutuhan jamur tiram
baru sekitar 10.000-12.500 ton/tahun. Oleh karena itu upaya akselerasi produksi
penting dilakukan untuk segera memenuhi kebutuhan pasar dalam negeri, antara lain
dengan mempersingkat waktu inkubasi dan memperbanyak jumlah sobekan. Tujuan
penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh lama inkubasi dan jumlah penyobekan bag
logterhadap produktivitas jamur Tiram (Pleurotus ostreatus).

EFFECT OF TIME INCUBATION AND THE NUMBER OF RIPS ON BAG
LOG AT Pleurotus ostreatus MUSHROOM CULTIVATION

ABSTRACT
Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) is a famous edible mushroom in
Indonesia. In 2015, the Oyster mushroom demand was 21,900 ton or increased 5%
from the former year. On the other hand the production of mushroom from the farmer
was only 10,000-12,500 ton/year and it had not fulfilled the market demand. Thus,
the acceleration of oyster Mushroom production is needed. The Effort to accelerate of
the mushroom production could be conducted by shorting the incubation time and
number of rips when the appearance of mushroom fruit bodies. This study aims to
determine the effect of incubation time and the number of rip sat bag log on the
oyster mushroom productivity (Pleurotus ostreatus).
This research was conducted by growing the mushroom on bag log that
produced by mushroom farmer in Sedyo Lestari, Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta.
Mushroom media was analyzed for chemical components. Than bag log was
incubated for 30, 40, and 50 days. Number of glucosamine was tested to measure the
mycelia which were formed by incubation time treatment. After the incubation time
the bag log would be ripped 1 and 2 rips. After 2 months in nursery period,
mushroom would be calculated by the wet weight of mushrooms, dry weight of
mushroom, moisture content of mushroom, harvest period, media weight loss and BC
(Biological Conversion) to measure the productivity of the mushroom.
The Incubation time at fifty days had the highest value of glucosamine
(1531,84μg / g) compare to the others. Thirty days incubation time could be used by
the farmers with the shorten of production time, it showed that the incubation time of
thirty days did not give an effect to the all productivity parameters, excepting in the
period of harvest and percent of media weight loss. Ripped treatment (1 and 2 rips)
also did not an effect to the all parameters productivity.
