One of the risk factors of the disease Hypertension is the lack of physical activity. Physical activity is body movement produced by skeletal muscles that requires energy expenditure. Objective: This study aimed to determine the relationship of the activity to the level of blood pressure in hypertensive patients aged 45-64 years in urban village Puskesmas Lean District of Central Singkawang. Methods: The method in this study using observational analytic design with cross sectional method. Selection of sample surveys conducted by non probability sampling using methods Convinience Sampling. This study uses 37 respondents who suffer from hypertension. The statistical test used was chi square test. Results: Of the total respondents who suffer from hypertension, there are five respondents (13.5%) with mild physical activity suffering from mild hypertension, 12 respondents (32.4%) with mild physical activity suffering from moderate hypertension, and 9 respondents (24, 3%) with mild physical activity suffered from severe hypertension. Whereas 7 respondents (18.9%) with moderate physical activity had mild hypertension, a total of 3 respondents (8.1%) with moderate physical activity had moderate hypertension, and one respondent (2.7%) with moderate activity suffer severe hypertension with the total respondents 37 respondents (100%). Statistical test results obtained by value p - value = 0.027. Due to the significant value of 0.027 <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Conclusion: Thus there is a relationship between physical activity levels of blood pressure in patients with hypertension who berusi 45-64 years in the village health center Lean.
