2. Melalui presentasi peserta didik dapat menyajikan hasil identifikasi fungsi
sosial dari beberapa teks deskriptif tentang orang dengan benar dan percaya
diri.
3. Melalui hasil diskusi dan presentasi peserta didik dapat membuat resume
terkait dengan fungsi social beberapa teks deskriptif tentang orang dengan

a. Kegiatan Pendahuluan (10’)
Guru memberi salam (greeting).
Peserta didik mengucapkan salam sesuai budaya sekolah
Guru mengajak peserta didik memulai kegiatan pembelajaran dengan
berdoa bersama.
Guru memeriksa kehadiran peserta didik.
Apersepsi dengan cara mengaitkan materi yang akan dipelajari dengan
kehidupan sehari – hari mereka. Siswa melakukan tanya jawab dengan guru
terkait apakah mereka pernah membaca tentang teks deskripsi terkait
dengan orang.
Guru menyampaikan kompetensi yang akan dicapai, yaitu membangun
pengetahuan tentang teks deskriptif tentang orang terkait dengan fungsi
sosialnya.
Guru menyampaikan garis besar cakupan materi dan kegiatan yang akan
dilakukan, yaitu fungsi social dari teks deskriptif.
Guru menyampaikan lingkup penilaian, yaitu aspek pengetahuan berupa tes
tulis dari hasil diskusi dan ketrampilan berupa tes unjuk kerja berupa
presentasi dan tes tulis berupa membuat resume.

hasil pengamatannya dengan data-data atau teori pada buku sumber atau

Bagi peserta didik mempunyai nilai di atas 70 diberi pengayaan berupa tugas
mandiri untuk mencari teks deskriptif tentang orang dan menentukan fungsi
sosialnya serta menuliskan poin-poin penting pada teks tersebut.

Joanne Rowling was born on 31th July 1965 in Yate, Gloucestershire, England. So, she is
52 years old by 2017. About her physical appearance, her height is 165 centimeters and
weight 54 kilograms. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. She has married two times.
Now, she has got three children.

Oprah Gail Winfrey is a great talk show host from America. Her well-known talk show
The Oprah Winfrey Show was the highest-rated television program from 1986 to 2011.
Because of this phenomenal talk show, she dubbed as the “Queen of All Media”. She has
also been ranked the richest African-American and the greatest black philanthropist in
American history.
Oprah was born on January 29, 1954 in Mississippi, United States. By 2017, her age is 62
years old. She has 169 centimeters tall dan her weight is 77 kilograms. During her
career, she successfully lost her weight. But then, she gained much weight again. She has
brown eyes and black hair.
Oprah Winfrey was born into poverty in rural Mississippi. She was molested her cousin,
uncle, and a family friend when she was nine years old. At 14, she became pregnant but
her son was born prematurely and he died shortly after birth. Then, she moved to her
father’s house and landed a job in radio. The consistent efforts led her into the
successful African-American in the world.

weighs 54 kilograms. Her hair is blonde and her eye color is blue. Her lips are usually
red as she likes red color very much.
Taylor Swift is a famous and wealthy women but her life was not always so sweet. She
suffered bullying in the school especially in Junior High. She said that she got dumped by
a group of popular girls in the school. They thought that it was weird that she liked
country music. This changed after she moved to Nashville and became a successful
singer.
