ABSTRAK

Dian Nurdiaman; Studi Implementasi Kurikulum Islam Terpadu Sesuai Standar


Mutu JSIT di SMP IT Al Multazam Kabupaten Kuningan
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan perkembangan dunia pendidikan terutama
banyak munculnya sekolah-sekolah Islam Terpadu. Sekolah-sekolah yang
berlabelkan sekolah Islam Terpadu ini dihimpun dalam sebuah organisasi yang
dinamakan Jaringan Sekolah Islam Terpadu (JSIT). Oleh karena itu, peneliti
merasa tertarik untuk melihat dan mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaannya di SMP
IT AL Multazam Kabupaten Kuningan yang telah bergabung dalam JSIT. Fokus
dari penelitian mengenai tiga aspek, yaitu: wawasan guru tentang kurikulum 2006
dalam kontek SIT, implementasi kurikulum 2006 dalam kontek SIT dan Standar
mutu JSIT di SMP IT Al Multazam Kabupaten Kuningan. Dari latar belakang
tersebut, tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah; (1) mengetahui bagaimana wawasan guru
tentang kurikulum 2006 dalam kontek SIT sebagai pelaksana kurikulum, (2)
Bagaiman proses implementasi kurikulum 2006 dalam kontek SIT dan (3)
bagaimana standar mutu JSIT di SMP IT Al Multazam. Metode penelitian adalah
campuran dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Dengan menggunakan
instrumen berupa observasi lapangan, angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi.
Subjek Penelitian ini ialah Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala sekolah bidang
Kurikulum, dan guru-guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa wawasan guru,
implementasi kurikulum dan standar mutu JSIT sangat baik dengan presentasi
sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. (1) wawasan guru tentang kurikulum 2006 dalam
kontek SIT dan pengembangannya sangat baik, ini dibuktikan dengan keterlibatan
guru-guru pengembangan kurikulum SIT. (2) Implementasi kurikulum 2006
dalam kontek dibuktikan dengan pengembangan kekhasan dalam setiap mata
pelajaran dan proses pengembangan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi yang sesuai
dengan kurikulum SIT (3) penilaian kesesuaian standar mutu nampak terlihat dari
wawasan guru, proses implementasi, kegiatan yang diselenggarakan dan berupa
dokumen Rencana Kerja Tahunan, Buku I dan II Kurikulum SMP IT Al
Multazam serta best practice implementasi kurikulum JSIT yang sesuai dengan
standar mutu JSIT. Dan pandangan umum tentang SMP IT Al Multazam bahwa
semua civitas akademika SMP IT Al Multazam dalam menyusun dan
mengembangkan konsep pendidikan yang Islami telah menjelma dengan
kemajuan yang dirasakan. Pada prinsipnya SMP IT Al Multazam Kuningan
menerapkan Kurikulum 2006 sebaga kurikulum nasional dengan menambahkan
kekhasan sebagimana konsep kurikulum SIT. Konsep operasional SMP IT Al-
Multazam merupakan akumulasi dari proses pembudayaan, pewarisan dan
pengembangan ajaran agama Islam, budaya dan peradaban Islam dari generasi
ke generasi. Daya dukung yakni SDM yang profesional mampu membangun dan
mengembangkan tatanan konsep pendidikan yang diterapkan oleh SMP IT Al
Multazam.

Accordance with the JSIT Quality Standards at SMP IT Al-Multazam
Kuningan District

The background of the research is the development of education, especially the


emergence of many integrated Islamic Schools. Schools which are labeled as Islamic
schools, are organized in an organization called the network of integrated Islamic
schools (JSIT). Therefore, the researcher was interested to see and find out how it’s
implementation in SMP IT Al Multazam Kuningan which has been joining in JSIT. The
focus of the research is on three aspects, they are: teachers’ insights about curriculum of
2006 in the context of SIT (Integrated Islamic Schools), curriculum of 2006
implementation in the context of SIT, and the JSIT quality standards in SMP IT Al
Multazam Kuningan. Based on this background, thus the purposes of this study are
knowing : (1) How is the teachers’ insights about the curriculum of 2006 in the context of
SIT as the on going curriculum, (2) How is the process of the curriculum of 2006
implementation in the context of SIT, and (3) How is the JSIT quality standard in SMP IT
Al Multazam. The method of the research is a mixed method of quantitative and
qualitative approaches, by using some instruments such as field observation,
questionnaires, interviews and documentations. The subjects of the research are the
principal, vice principal of curriculum, and the teachers. The results showed that the
insights of teachers, curriculum implementation and JSIT quality standards in SMP IT Al
Multazam are very good with the presentation as expected before. (1) Teachers’ insight
about curriculum of 2006 in the context of SIT and its development is very good, this is
proven by the involvement of the teachers in the developing the SIT curriculum. (2) The
curriculum of 2006 implementation in the context, is proven by the development of the
characteristics in all subjects and the process of development, the implementation, and
the evaluations are in accordance with the curriculum of SIT. The assessment of the
accordance of the quality standards is appeared from the teachers’ insights, process of
implementation, and the organized activities and in the form of Annual work Plan
Documents, Book I and II curriculum SMP IT Al Multazam and best practices JSIT
curriculum implementation in accordance with JSIT quality standards. And the general
overview on SMP IT Al Multazam that all academic civitas of SMP IT Al Multazam in
formulating and developing the concept of Islamic education has been transformed in the
perceived progress. In short, SMP IT Al Multazam Kuningan is implementing the
curriculum of 2006 as the national curriculum and integrates the characteristics of SIT
curriculum concept. Operational concept of SMP IT Al Multazam Kuningan is an
accumulation of the civilizing process, inheritance and development of Islamic values,
culture and Islamic civilization from generation to generation. The endorsement aspect
which is the professional human resources are capable to build and develop the
educational concept arrangement which applied by SMP IT Al Multazam Kuningan.
