the care of patients is nurses. The work of a nurse is inseparable from the work shift system.
Work shifts are choices in organizing work to maximize work productivity as fulfilling patient
demands. nurses as the largest health care team in the hospital are required to improve the
performance and quality of nursing services. When nurses carry out nursing practices,
especially night shifts, nurses are required to uphold the principles of ethics and
professionalism, one example is the principle of ethical justice, namely upholding moral,
legal and humanitarian principles. This value is carried out in professional practice when
nurses work night shifts to do the right therapy, practice standards and correct beliefs to
obtain quality health services, compliance with interventions that must be done will also
greatly affect the patient's recovery rate, therefore nurses are required to be able adjust to
the shift schedule therefore, nurses must be able to adjust to the shift system, such as
bedtime, meal time, and time to gather with family. In terms of health, nurses already
understand how to maintain proper stamina to support their activities.
