FLOOD

Flood is a natural phenomenon which is the water from

all the water sources on the earth overflaw on resident
living places. Flood is a dangerous disaster for human
living. Sometimes, flood caused by the human
activites(throwing trash in the river). Flood happens in all
part of the world.

semua sumber air di bumi meluap ke tempat tinggal
penduduk. Banjir merupakan bencana yang berbahaya
bagi kehidupan manusia. Terkadang banjir terjadi karena
ulah manusia. Banjir terjadi di seluruh belahan dunia.]
How is the process of flood?
[Bagaimana proses terjadinya banjir?]
The process of natural flooding is preceded by rain which
falls to the surface of the earth
Then the rain water absorbed by the ground surface and
flows to the lower place
[Proses banjir alami diawali dengan hujan yang turun ke
permukaan bumi
Kemudian air hujan diserap oleh permukaan tanah dan
mengalir ke tempat yang lebih rendah]
Once that condition happens, evaporation(penguapan)
and the water appear to the surface of the land
[Begitu kondisi itu terjadi, penguapan dan air muncul ke
permukaan tanah]
The process of flooding occurs when the rainy season
comes and caused water sources such as rivers, seas,
lakes, and ditches no longer holds water that down.
[Proses banjir terjadi saat musim hujan datang dan
menyebabkan sumber air seperti sungai, laut, danau, dan
parit tidak lagi menahan air yang turun.]
When water no longer can hold, the water will overflow
and drain into the settlement, Thus causing flooding
[Saat air tidak lagi bisa menahan, air akan meluap dan
mengalir ke pemukiman, Sehingga menyebabkan banjir]
On the other hand, the process of non natural flooding is
usually caused by bad habits of humans who do not care
about the environment, such as littering that can make
water flow clogged. This makes the water deposited in
landfills which gradually becomes more common. When
water reservoirs can no longer hold water discharge, the
water then overflows out theland and cause flooding
[Di sisi lain, proses banjir non alam biasanya disebabkan
oleh kebiasaan buruk manusia yang tidak peduli
terhadap lingkungan, seperti membuang sampah
sembarangan yang dapat membuat aliran air tersumbat.
Hal ini membuat air mengendap di tempat pembuangan
sampah yang lama kelamaan menjadi lebih umum.
Ketika penampungan air tidak dapat lagi menahan debit
air, maka air tersebut akan meluap ke luar dan
menyebabkan banjir]
So, what we can do ?
[Jadi, apa yang bisa kita lakukan?]
We must cooperate with government in Increasing the
green areas, make laws of illegal logging and changing
people's behavior to not make the river as a giant trash.
Participation of all elements of society must be organized
and coordinated in order to run effectively. A community
organization should be formed to take early action and
organize public participation in flood mitigation(efforts to
reduce the risk of flooding).
[Kita harus bekerja sama dengan pemerintah dalam
meningkatkan penghijauan, membuat undang-undang
pembalakan liar dan mengubah perilaku masyarakat agar
tidak menjadikan sungai sebagai sampah raksasa.
Partisipasi seluruh elemen masyarakat harus diatur dan
dikoordinasikan agar dapat berjalan efektif. Organisasi
masyarakat harus dibentuk untuk mengambil tindakan
dini dan mengatur partisipasi masyarakat dalam mitigasi
banjir.]
As a student, I will put trash in its place, reducing the
amount of plastic and then I will do gardening or planting
plants at home
