jumlah populasi sebanyak 588 dokumen rekam medis.
didapatkan sebanyak 85 dokumen rekam medis.
meningkatkan ketepatan kode diagnosis sebaiknya RSUP Dr. Sitanala Tangerang mengadakan
evaluasi tentang ketepatan kode diagnosis khususya kasus NIDDM ( Non Insulin Dependent
Diabetes Melitus ).

ABSTRACT
Accuracy is the correct processing of medical records, complete in accordance with
applicable regulations. Based on this, researchers conducted research on the accuracy of the
diagnosis code at Dr. Sitanala by taking inpatient NIDDM cases in 2019. The purpose of this
study was to find an overview of the accuracy of the coding of NIDDM (Non-Insulin Depend
Diabetes Mellitus) cases of inpatients at Dr. Sitanala in 2019. The type of research used is
descriptive quantitative with a retrospective approach. Of the total population used in this study,
the total population was 588 medical record documents. To determine the sample, the researcher
used the Slovin formula with a critical value of 10% (0.1), thus the sample obtained was 85
medical record documents. Researchers used data analysis techniques using univariate analysis
techniques. The results of the study were the correct diagnosis of Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes
Mellitus (NIDDM) as many as 54 medical records with a percentage of 64%, while the incorrect
diagnosis of Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus (NIDDM) was codified as many as 31
medical records with a percentage of 36%. The conclusions and suggestions of this study are that
the correct diagnosis of Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus (NIDDM) is 54 medical records
with a percentage of 64%, while the incorrect diagnosis of Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes
Mellitus (NIDDM) is as many as 31 medical records with a percentage of 36. %. because the
inpatient coding officer was only one person so that the officer did not pay attention to the
convention signs and coding rules based on the ICD. to increase the accuracy of the diagnosis
code, Dr. Sitanala Tangerang conducted an evaluation of the accuracy of the diagnosis code,
especially cases of NIDDM (Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus).
