Background: Manufacturing industry workers are workers who always use their
hands, so the risk of getting Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is greater. Carpal Tunnel
Syndrome can cause nerve damage to the wrist.
Objective: To find out the relationship between length of service and carpal
tunnel syndrome in manufacturing workers.?
Methods: This study is a literature review with 10 articles taken which are
considered relevant. The selection of articles using PICO with inclusion and
exclusion criteria that have been previously determined by the researcher.
Results: From the results of articles that have been obtained and reviewed, the
average tenure is 11.2 years, besides that all articles state the incidence of carpal
tunnel syndrome in manufacturing workers. There is a relationship between
tenure and carpal tunnel syndrome in manufacturing workers.
