MATERI BAHASA INGGRIS

LATAR BELAKANG
Mempelajari segala sesuatu tentunya harus dimulai dari dasar terlebih dahulu bukan?
Termasuk ketika kita ingin mahir berbahasa inggris. Bahasa Inggris sangat dibutuhkan
seiring dengan kemajuan suatu negara. Pendidikan bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa
Internasional sudah seharusnya mulai diperkenalkan sedini mungkin kepada anak didik di
Indonesia saat ini. Ideal pendidikan bahasa inggris dimulai sejak usia dini, yaitu pada
rentang usia 3 – 7 tahun.

TUJUAN & TARGET ENGLISH CLASS pada Anak Usia Dini

Program Bahasa Inggris dasar pada anak. English Class bertujuan untuk melatih anak-anak
agar anak fasih dalam Bahasa Inggris.
TAHAPAN PEMBELAJARAN MATERI

1. Kosa Kata Bahasa Inggris

Anak-anak sudah mulai diberikan kosa kata yang berhubungan dengan
kehidupan sehari hari.
2. Speaking
Berani mengucapkan kosa kata dalam bahasa Inggris meskipun kosa kata yang
dimilikinya masih terbatas.
3. Reading
Dimulai dengan memahami bacaan sederhana, seperti memberikan bacaan
cerita pendek. Dari bacaan tersebut siswa diajak untuk mengerti dan
memahami maksud dari isi cerita.
4. Writing
Menulis menjadi tahapan akhir karena ini relatif sulit. Tahap awal dengan
mengenalkan materi grammar sederhana, seperti Simple Present Continous dan
Simple Present.

Bahasa Inggris merupakan bahasa asing pertama di Indonesia, maka proses pembelajarannya harus
dilakukan secara bertahap. Tidak perlu khawatir apabila anak belum bisa langsung berbicara dalam
Bahasa Inggris, karena dibutuhkan waktu untuk meyerap suatu bahasa.
