Menggunakan Plugin Flash pada Firefox

Plugin Adobe Flash Player adalah plugin yang berfungsi untuk menampilkan video atau
konten animasi pada Firefox.

Catatan: Pemutakhiran Perangkat Lunak Firefox tidak berfungsi memutakhirkan secara

otomatis plugin yang terpasang. Silakan baca Laman buletin dan laporan Adobe Security

Memasang (Menginstal) Flash

Untuk memasang versi terbaru Flash:

1. Buka laman unduhan Flash Player di situs Adobe.com dan unduh berkas pemasang (installer)
Flash.

2. Klik menu Firefox , kemudian klik Keluar.

3. Buka berkas yang diunduh tadi (yang bernama install_flash_player.exe), kemudian ikuti
petunjuk pemasangan (instalasi).

Menguji Flash
Setelah memasang Flash, kunjungi Laman Pengujian Adobe untuk menguji plugin Anda
untuk memastikan plugin sudah terpasang dengan benar.

Memutakhirkan versi Flash

Untuk mengetahui apakah Anda perlu untuk memutakhirkan versi Flash, kunjungi laman
Periksa Plugin Mozilla.
Jika Anda perlu untuk memutakhirkan versi Flash, silakan baca Memasang Flash di atas.

Mengatasi Masalah

Flash hanya berfungsi di Internet Explorer tapi tidak

berfungsi di Firefox
Terdapat dua versi Flash Player: Versi berbasis ActiveX untuk Internet Explorer dan versi
plugin untuk Firefox dan program peramban lainnya. Jika Anda ingin fitur Flash berfungsi
pada Firefox, Anda harus memasang versi plugin seperti yang dijelaskan di atas.

Video atau audio berbasis Flash tidak dapat diputar atau

berhenti setelah beberapa detik

Flash tidak bekerja dengan benar dan/atau tidak dapat

dimutakhirkan
Terkadang terdapat dua atau beberapa versi Flash terpasang untuk Firefox. Hal ini dapat
menyebabkan permasalahan:

 Konten Flash tidak dapat bekerja, terjadi keanehan, atau menyebabkan kesalahan. (Hal ini
terjadi karena versi Flash yang lama yang digunakan untuk memainkan konten yang
membutuhkan versi Flash terbaru.)
 Pemasangan versi terbaru mungkin gagal, walaupun pemasang (installer) Flash tidak
menyebutkan adanya kesalahan dan sepertinya baik-baik saja. (Versi lama Flash mempunyai
prioritas yang lebih tinggi daripada versi baru, dan berkas pemasang Flash gagal menghapus
versi lama.)

Untuk mengetahui berapa banyak versi Flash yang terpasang:

1. Pada bagian atas jendela Firefox, klik pada menu Alat dan pilih Pengaya. Jendela Pengaya
akan muncul.
2. Pada jendela Pengaya, pilih panel Plugin untuk menampilkan daftar plugin terpasang.
3. Hitung berapa banyak item yang bernama "Shockwave Flash".

Jika terdapat item dengan nama "Shockwave Flash" lebih dari satu, artinya Anda memiliki
lebih dari satu versi Flash terpasang. Pada situasi seperti ini, Anda wajib menghapus item
Flash dan menyisakan satu versi saja, serta mungkin Anda memasang ulang (reinstall) versi
terbaru. Untuk melakukan hal ini:

1. Keluar dari. Pada menu di atas jendela Firefox, pilih menu Berkas dan pilih Keluar.
2. Temukan folder tempat pemasangan Firefox. (Umumnya adalah C:\Program Files\Mozilla
Firefox\)
3. Buka folder \plugins\.
4. Hapus berkas dengan nama NPSWF32.dll.
5. Buka Firefox.
6. Buka jendela Pengaya dan pilih panel Plugin.
7. Pastikan hanya satu item dengan nama “Shockwave Flash”.
8. Kunjungi laman pengujian Flash untuk memastikan versi termutakhir Flash. Silakan baca

HTML5 audio and video
Firefox has built in support for open media formats usually associated with WebM, Ogg and
Wave containers. However MP3 and MP4 containers usually depend on platform decoders
for MP3, AAC and H.264 audio and video streams. For more information, see Fix video and

Clear the cache

Disable interfering extensions or ad-blocking software

Ad-blocking software, such as anti-banner filters of your Internet Security program, or
extensions, such as Flashblock or Adblock Plus, can prevent audio or video content from
playing.

 If the site works with ad-blocking disabled, you may want to add the site to your whitelist in
your adblocker filter.
 If the video or audio plays when you disable all extensions, then one of your extensions was

Check some Firefox settings

 Cookies:

1. Click the menu button and select Options.

2. Select the Privacy & Security panel and go to the Cookies and Site Data section.
3. Verify that cookies are enabled and that the site is not blocked in the Exceptions list.

 History:

1. Click the menu button and select Options.

2. Select the Privacy & Security panel and go to the History section.
3. Make sure that Firefox is set to Remember history.

 Pop-up windows:

1. Click the menu button and select Options.

2. Select the Privacy & Security panel and go to the Permissions section.
3. Allow the website as an exception to the "Block pop-up windows" setting.

Flash Plugin
The Flash plugin is used for embedded audio and video on some websites. When the Flash
plugin is missing, a message will appear in place of the content:
  "A plugin is needed to display this content" indicates that the plugin is not installed on your
machine.

Note: If Flash is disabled in the Add-ons Manager, you won't be able to use it.

1. Click the menu button , click Add-ons and select Plugins.

2. Review the list of plugins.
o To enable Flash, click on Never Activate and select Ask to Activate in its drop-down
menu.

need to click on the icon to activate the plugin:
