Pengertian Risiko
Operasional
Risiko Operasional disebut juga risiko
yang inherent yaitu risiko yang muncul
karena perusahaan menjalankan bisnisnya.

Menurut Basel II ( lembaga yang mengatur

perbankan internasional ), risiko operasional
adalah risiko yang timbul karena kegagalan
dari proses internal, manusia, system atau
kejadian eksternal.
Terdapat empat jenis kejadian risiko operasional berdasarkan frekuensi
dan dampak, yaitu :

Suatu risiko yang berhubungan dengan

penggunaan sistem dan teknologi perusahaan
sangat tergantung pada sistem dan teknologi
yang digunakan untuk membantu kegiatan
sehari-hari.
Suatu risiko yang berhubungan
dengan karyawan atau lebih
tepatnya dapat dikatakan sebagai
oknum karyawan.
Pengertian
Sebab terjadinya risiko ini yaitu :
• kesalahan manusia, Risiko Sumber
• pegawai yang tidak kompeten,
adanya niat jahat, Daya Manusia
• kehilangan karyawan kunci,
• dan penipuan.
 Secara umum operasional risk dikarenakan akibat
kegagalan proses dan prosedur. Berdasarkan
pengertianya, resiko operasional bank dapat
menyebabkan karugian bank. Kerugian ini berasal dari
beberapa faktor seperti proses internal, manusia atau
SDM, sistem dan kejadian eksternal.

atau SDM
Kontrol internal dijadikan kambing
hitam atas kegagalan suatu proses
operasional bank. Namun bila ditelusuri
penyebabnya terkait langsung dengan
pegawai bank sendiri. Dimana
disebabkan aktivitas yang disengaja
atau tidak . Contoh: kesalahan manusia
dalam melaksanakan transaksi dan
prosedur sehingga menyebabkan
kerugian bagi bank

Resik sistem dan
teknologi
Resiko yang terkait dengan
penggunaan sistem dan
teknologi. Sumber utama resiko
operasional ini, adalah
meningkatnya ketergantungan
bank terhadap teknologi
informasi. Contoh: kesalahan
data, kesalahan program, dll.

Resiko eksternal
Dalam kejadian eksternal biasanya
bank memiliki kontrol yang kecil.
Bahkan tidak mampu mengontrol
sama sekali. Namun hal ini tetap
perlu dikelola. Contoh: kebakaran,
bencana alam, listrik, dll
 Risiko Pertambangan merupakan proyek pengoperasian
dengan keahlian yang tinggi. Karenanya,
pengelolaannya membutuhkan kemampuan untuk
Operasional di mengantisipasi risiko yang akan terjadi.
Beberapa risiko operasional di perusahaan tambang:
• Mining Engineering,

• Proses dan probem produksi,

• Ketersediaan lahan,
• Manajemen Proyek,
• Kegagalan untuk menemukan sumber daya
baru/mempertahankan dan mengembangkan
operasi baru,
• pola cuaca yang tidak normal dan tidak mengikuti
musim,
• pasokan bahan bakar,
• pergerakan harga batubara,
• kemampuan untuk mendapatkan alat berat,

perusahaan lokal masih sulit melakukan penambangan

bawah tanah tanpa bantuan teknologi asing.

Pemerintah perlu mendorong penggunaan teknologi

yang lebih maju bagi perusahaan dalam negeri.
Tujuannya agar bisa bersaing dengan perusahaan
asing dan juga mengefisiensikan kegiatan sektor
pertambangan.

Risiko sumber daya manusia (SDM) timbul dari

kurangnya pengetahuan, keterampilan dan
pengalaman pada personil utama dan
ketidakmampuan mempertahankan karyawan
dalam jumlah yang memadai, sehingga
mengancam pencapaian tujuan bisnis.
 Kesalahan Internal :
• Kesalahan Klaim
Kesalahan yang terjadi dari pihak perusahaan dalam proses
settlement ( penyelesaian) memberikan klaim kepada pihak yang
mengasuransikan
• Kesalahan Pencatatan data pihak tertanggung (asuransi)

dalam pemasukan data – data ataupun informasi yang berkaitan dengan pihak

karyawan perusahaan asuransi dari nasabah yang mana perbuatan tersebut
melanggar secara hukum.

Risiko yang terjadi :
1. Minat pembeli dari properti hanya menjangkau
kalangan tertentu
2. Fluktuasi harga diakibatkan suku bunga
Risiko Teknologi di Perusahaan Properti
Teknologi di perusahaan properti digunakan
antara lain untuk mendesain banguan atau bentuk proyek dari
properti yang akan dibangun. Risiko yang mungkin muncul
ialah kesalahan dalam mendesaian, penggunaan software
yang kurang optimal.
Penggunaan peralatan - peralatan dalam
pembanguanan proyek properti. Risiko yang muncul
kerusakan pada peralatan - peralatan tersebut

risiko yang mungkin ialah gangguan pada internet,
sever bermasalah.

pendataan secara berkala.
