 THE DEFINITON OF FAMILY

According to Wikipedia, the definition of family is the smallest

unit of society composed of the head of the family (acting as
husband and father) and several people who gather and live
together in a place under one roof in conditions of mutual
need/dependence.
 Definisi keluarga

Menurut Wikipedia, pengertian keluarga adalah unit terkecil dari

masyarakat yang tersusun atas kepala keluarga (berperan sebagai
suami dan ayah) dan beberapa orang yang terkumpul dan tinggal
bersama pada suatau tempat di bawah satu atap dalam kondisi yang
saling membutuhkan / ketergantungan.

1. Main family
The nuclear family is the most basic family type
as well as the smallest in scope. Even so, the
nuclear family is the type of family that plays the
biggest role in everyone's life. This type of
family only consists of father, mother, and child.
 Jenis-Jenis Keluarga

1. Keluarga Inti
Keluarga inti merupakan jenis keluarga yang paling
dasar sekaligus paling kecil cakupannya. Meskipun
begitu, keluarga inti merupakan jenis keluarga yang
memegang peranan terbesar dalam kehidupan setiap
orang. Jenis keuarga ini hanya terdiri atas ayah, ibu,
dan anak.

2. Conjugal Family
The conjugal family type is a family
consisting of father, mother, child, which is
equipped with the presence / interaction of
the father's parents or the mother
(grandfather, grandmother). Compared to
nuclear families, the scope of conjugal
families tends to be much wider and also
more complex.

2. Keluarga Konjugal
Mrupakan keluarga yang terdiri dari ayah,
ibu, anak, yang dilengkapi dengan
keberadaan/ interaksi dari orang tua ayah
atau pun ibu (kakek, nenek).
Dibandingkan dengan keluarga inti,
cakupan keluarga konjugal cenderung
jauh lebih luas dan juga lebih kompleks.

3. Extensive Family
The extended family is the type of family with
the largest number of personnel and coverage
area. The extended family consists of conjugal
family personnel who have been equipped with
the existence of more complex relatives such as
uncles, aunts, cousins, and various other family
personnel

3. Keluarga Luas
Keluarga luas merupakan jenis keluarga
dengan jumlah personil dan juga luas
cakupan paling besar. Keluarga luas terdiri
dari personil keluarga konjugal yang telah
dilengkapi dengan keberadaan kerabat yang
lebih kompleks seperti paman, bibi, sepupu,
dan berbagai personel keluarga lainnya.

Lana : "Mom, I'm home!"

Mom : "Welcome, dear! How was your day?"
Lana : "It was so tiring. My class is now busy preparing for
the annual scout meeting."
Mom : "It must be interesting!"
Lana : "Actually yes, but there are some of my friends who
don't want to participate.
Mom : "Lana, it's up to them. What you need to do is being
as helpful as you can."
Lana : "It's unfair, then?"

Mom : "Remember, wlhat you contribute will be a benefit to

you. Like when you help the team to make the event
rundown, you also learn how to manage an event."
Lana : "And my friends won't get that knowledge?"
Mom : "Yes, that's how it works."
Lana : "Thank you, Mom. I feel much more relieved now."

Mom : "It is also applicable to anything that you do in the

future."
Lana : "TIl keep that in mind."
Mom : "Let's have lunch now?"
Lana : "Just the perfect time. T'm starving!”
Mom : "Hahaha, come on. I made your favorite food."

Simple Present Tense is a simple sentence that is used to

describe a daily activity or daily habit. Present tense also states
an action or activity that is taking place or happening at the
present time in a simple form
Simple Present Tense merupakan kalimat sederhana yang
digunakan untuk menjelaskan suatu kegiatan sehari-hari atau
kebiasaan sehari-hari.Present tense juga menyatakan suatu
perbuatan atau kegiatan yang berlangsung atau terjadi pada
waktu sekarang dalam bentuk sederhana.

 Penggunaan Simple Present Tense

1. Digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu kebiasaan yang

dilakukan pada waktu tertentu( habits ).
2. Digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu kegiatan yang
berulang-ulang( repeated actions).
3. Digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu kebenaran umum,
suatu kebenaran umum yang terjadi terus menerus ( general
truth )
4. Digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu instruksi atau arah
(instructions or directions)
5. Digunakan untuk menyatakan dengan konstruksi masa
depan (with future constructions)
