Metode Penelitian
Sampel Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 108 siswa kelas 8 yang direkrut dari 3 kelas berbeda sebagai sampel. Sampel yang digunakan dalam sampel adalah heterogen dan memiliki kemampuan ratarata. Materi Penelitian (1) Unsur dan senyawa : mengidentifikasi senyawa dan unsur,dimana senyawa dapat dipisahkan menjadi unsurunsurnya melalui reaksi kimia, (2) Struktur atom : komponen dari atom beserta sifat-sifatnya, (3) penyusunan atom dan reaksi kimia dari unsur, (4) Atom dan reaksi kimia: transfer elektron terjadi ketika 2 atom berbeda bereaksi untuk membentuk senyawa.

Dalam penelitian ini variabel bebasnya yaitu ; upaya perbaikan miskonsepsi siswa menggunakan DSLM (Dual Situated Learning Model) Dalam penelitian ini variabel terikatnya yaitu hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa.
