UJI STABILITAS OBAT CUCI MATA SENG SULFAT DENGAN DAPAR ASAM BORAT NATRIUM SITRAT YANG
DIBUAT MENURUT TIGA CARA DAN DISTERILKAN PADA pH ISOHIDRI

Preparat untuk mata merupakan produk steril dan bebas partikel, salah satu sediaan untuk mata adalah
obat cuci mata. Sediaan ini biasanya membutuhkan dapar dan bahan pengisotonis. Penelitian ini
dimaksudkan untuk mendapatkan obat cuci mata seng sulfat yang stabil selama penyimpanan,
mengetahui kadaluarsa dan medapatkan obat cuci mata yang steril. Telah dilakukan penelitian uji
stabilitas obat cuci mata seng sulfat dengan dapar asam borat-natrium sitrat yang dibuat menurut 3 cara
dan disterilkan pada pH isohidri. Sediaan ini diuji stabilitas dengan cara uji stabilitas dipercepat, diuji pH
dan sterilitas selama 3 minggu dan dimaksukkan kedalam oven suhu 60, 80 dan 100 oC, pada uji sterilitas
dilakukan inkubasi 48 jam suhu 35OC. kadaluarsa obat cuci mata seng sulfat cara I 3, 18 tahun, cara II 3,
18 tahun dan III 3, 14 tahun untuk cara III. Hasil analisis statistik ada perbedaan kandungan seng dalam
seng sulfat pada suhu 60oC kecuali antara cara II dan III tidak ada perbedaan, sedangkan pada suhu 80o
dan 100oC tidak menunjukkan perbedaan baik cara I, II maupun III. Hasil analisis statistik tidak terdapat
perbedaan pH obat cuci mata seng sulfat baik cara I, II maupun III. Hasil sterilitas obat cuci mata seng
sulfat memenuhi syarat farmakope. Hasil rata-rata angka mikroba aerob total pada minggu ke 0 dan ke 1
untuk cara I, II dan III adalah < 10 per ml spesimen.

ABSTRACT
Preparations for the eyes is sterile and free particles products, one of the preparations for the eyes is
eyewash. This preparation usually requires buffering and material lawyer-isotonic. This research is to
obtain eyewash zinc sulfate stable during storage, knowing the expiration and obtain sterile eyewash.
Has conducted study stability test eyewash zinc sulfate with boric acid buffer-sodium citrate prepared
by 3 way and sterilized at pH isohidri. This preparation was tested stability by way of accelerated
stability test, pH and sterility tested for 3 weeks and put into the oven at 60, 80 and 100oC, the sterility
test performed 48 h incubation temperature of 35oC. the expiration eyewash zinc sulfate way I 3, 18, II 3,
18 and III 3, 14 years for the third ways. Results of statistical analysis there is a difference zinc content in
zinc sulfate at 60 C except for the way II and III there is no difference, while at a temperature of 80o
and 100oC showed no difference either way I, II and III. The results of statistical analysis there is no
difference of pH eyewash zinc sulfate either way I, II and III. The results of sterility eyewash zinc sulfate
eligible pharmacopeia. The average yield total aerobic microbial numbers at weeks 0 and to 1 for way I,
II and III is <10 per ml specimen.
