Abstrak
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis limbah pertanian, suhu dan pH terhadap produksi enzim selulase
oleh Penicillium sp. Produksi enzim selulase yang dihasilkan oleh Penicillium sp diukur dengan menggunakan metode
FPase, mengukur gula reduksi dengan menggunkan DNS. Hasil penelitian yang dianalisa dengan anova menunjukkan
adanya pengaruh jenis medium terhadap aktivitas enzim. Aktivitas enzim tertinggi ditunjukkan pada perlakuan dengan
menggunakan medium tongkol jagung pH 6 dengan suhu 35 oC yaitu sebesar 0.595 IU/ml.

Abstract
This research was conducted to determine the effect of type of agricultural waste, temperature and pH on the production of
cellulase enzymes by Penicillium sp. The production of cellulase enzyme produced by Penicillium sp., FPase measured using
the method, measuring the reduction of sugar by using DNS. The results were analyzed by ANOVA showing the influence of
type of medium on the enzyme activity. Based on the enzyme activity of the highest value indicated in the treatment with corn
corp medium pH 6 with a temperature of 35oC in the amount of 0.595 IU / ml.

4. KESIMPULAN
Kesimpulan dari pebelitian ini adalah jenis medium, suhu
dan pH berpengaruh terhadap produksi enzim selulase oleh
Penicillium sp. Berdasarkan nilai aktivitas enzimnya,
tongkol jagung dengan perlakuan pH 6 suhu 35 oC
mempunyai aktivitas paling tinggi yaitu sebesar 0,595
IU/ml.
