------------------------------
1.0
This was the first version of this guide.
1.1
The change date codes were fixed.
1.2
I finally optained a code which was supposedly the Master Code. I also included
a rumor about how to turn VBA codes into CB codes, which turned out to be false.
1.3
A few things were changed, though nothing major was edited.
2.0 CURRENT
Because of extremely rapid changes that were done to this guide before this
update I decided to dub this version 2.0, dispite the fact that no version
between 1.3 and 2.0 were submitted to Game FAQs, Neoseeker or the Harvest Moon
Barn.

If you have a question or a comment that you would like to present to me please
email me at valt_jasper@earthlink.net. Your email will most likely be replied
to in about 2 days. If it is not replied to please be patient, it will be.
Before emailing me, however, please make sure you do the following:
1: Read the FAQ section. Make sure that your question is not answered there.
2: Read section B. Many things are explained there.
3: If you are having trouble with a code read over the entire chapter that the
code is in.
4: If you still don't have an answer then you can email me.
PLEASE NOTE: Spellcheck your emails. Don't use things like "r" for "are" and
"u" for "you". This is concidered chatroom slang. Emails contaning bad grammer,
continuously misspelled words and chatroom slang will most likely NOT be
answered.

>B://I/Introductory To Version 2.0/
------------------------------
As you can see, this guide has been through same huge changes. One thing which
you most likely have noticed is that the settup of chapters, sections, and
things like that have been changed dramaticaly. Over your time looking at this
guide you will also notice that many things have been switched around a lot.
This is mainly because I got so many emails asking the same questions that I
knew it was time for a big update.
One of the main things that people who have seen versions 1.0 through 1.3 will
notice is that I have not split up sections into stage 1 and stage 2 codes.
This is to avoid confusion. Now, both stage 1 codes and stage 2 codes are
included in each chapter, making them easier to find.
------------------------------
>B://II/How Coding Should Be Done/
------------------------------
After I put this guide on the net a lot of people emailed me saying that they
just couldn't get it, and that they couldn't understand how to use these codes.
Well, first of all, you need a codebreaker. A codebreaker can be bought at
places like Toys R' Us, Gamestop, Ebay Games, Games For Less, and most stores
that carry electronics and/or electronic gaming products. Once you have a
codebreaker all you have to do is plug in the codes listed in here and then
start your game. For different stages you will want different codes, and
sometimes you may want to turn off/on your codebreaker at different points in
the game when using these codes. More on this in the next chapter.
------------------------------
>B://III/The Different Stages And How They Work/
------------------------------
In Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town there are two main types of codes:
Stage 1 and Stage 2. Stage one codes are codes that are used BEFORE you load
your game data (aka, while your in the main menu). Many people use these codes
because you can turn/leave your codebreaker on right when you turn on the game.
Stage 2 codes accur AFTER you load your game (aka, when your in the game). The
way that you can tell that you are in a possition to use stage 2 codes is when
you can move around. To use stage 2 codes players should turn off their
codebreakers, load their game files and then, when they can move around in the
game, they should turn on their codebreakers. This will allow you to use the
codes correctly.
The difference in the stages is simple, a stage 2 code is 2834 + the stage 1
code (added hesadecimaly). For those of you who would like to calculate your
own stage 2 codes from stage 1 codes you can follow the following instructions:
With this knowledge of codes you should now be ready to begin pluging in codes.

Mastercodes are not perfect but they are working with the codes listed in the faq.
Added a Pokmon always shiny code v.0.3 A much needed MAJOR update - Item codes
added YAY There seems to be an issue with the Pokemon shiny code, the cause is
still unknown. And there is an issue with Mew not obeying. This is a flag in Mew's
data which should be set but isn't if caught in the wild. No solution for this yet.
Well not a simple solution anyway. v.0.4 Time for US codes baby! Everything ported
except the shiny We've also added the missing items. AURORATICKET anyone? Enjoy.
v.0.5 Added quite a few new codes (2.4-2.7 & 4.6-4.7) Added a way to get an
obedient MEW v.0.5bChanged the National Pokedex Code because the old one could
cause problems if used later in the game. v.0.6 Codes for Houen Pokemon and Items

the codes seem to work perfectly - if you have problems with these remember: you
have to buy the items. v.0.7 Fixed a problem with the Leaf Pokemon code Added

time we could spend hacking. Finally. The rivial of the good old r/s-AR faq. We
don't know if it's going to be as detailed as the old faq, but nevertheless we hope
you enjoy the faq. We worked hard to create these codes so please dont steal them!

---------5. Thanks. ---------Big Thanks for Forgotten, and his great emulator, VBA
(http://vba.ngemu.com). Without it, this FAQ would not exsist. Also thanks to
labmaster for his geat vba extentions. Very big Thanks to Parasyte for all the
things he did for the AR-Scene. Without him homebrew AR codes wouldn't exist,
either. Your GCNRD/GCNCRYPT are great :) Thanks to wintermute for his
DevkitARM/DevkitPPC which is pretty useful :) Thanks to Datel for having created
such a nice device! And thanks to all the people who use these codes :) and keep
mailing me about the rs ones.
