PROSEDUR PEMERIKSAAN APPENDIKOGRAFI DENGAN SUSPEK

APPENDISITIS DI INSTALASI RADIOLOGI RUMAH SAKIT ROEMANI

INTISARI
Penelitian ini telah dilakukan di Instalasi Radiologi Rumah Sakit
Roemani Muhammadiyah Semarang tentang prosedur pemeriksaan
appendikografi dengan suspek appendisitis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui prosedur pemeriksaan appendikografi dengan suspek appendisitis dan
alasan dilakukan foto polos abdomen tambahan dengan proyeksi LLD (left lateral
decubitus).
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi
kasus. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara observasi, dokumentasi dan
wawancara dengan keluarga pasien, radiografer, dan dokter spesialis radiologi
pada bulan Mei 2017. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini kemudian dianalisis
dengan menggunakan koding terbuka.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemeriksaan appendikografi di
Instalasi Radiologi Rumah Sakit Roemani Muhammadiyah Semarang
membutuhkan persiapan yaitu 2 hari sebelum pemeriksaan pasien makan makanan
rendah serat, lalu setelah makan malam terakhir pasien minum dulcolax tablet.
Setelah itu, pasien di lavement lewat anal dengan menggunakan air sabun. Pada
pukul 07.00 pagi pasien minum media kontras barium sulfat 100 gram yang
diseduh dengan 300 cc air hangat. Kemudian pasien diperbolehkan untuk makan
dan minum serta boleh BAB pada 1-3 jam setelah pemberian media kontras.
Pengambilan radiograf dilakukan pada pukul 07.00 pagi yaitu foto polos abdomen
proyeksi AP dan proyeksi LLD. Lalu, foto lanjutan dilakukan pukul 17.00 sore
dengan proyeksi AP, AP oblik kanan dan AP oblik kiri. Foto polos tambahan
dengan proyeksi LLD bertujuan untuk memastikan kecurigaan kontraindikasi
pada pasien yaitu melihat adanya batas antara air dan udara atau air fluid level
pada abdomen yang dapat berupa ileus dan perforasi.

 EXAMINATIONS PROCEDURE OF APPENDICOGRAPHY IN

ABSTRACT
The research of examinations procedure of appendicography in suspect
appendicitis at Radiology Department of Roemani Muhammadiyahs Hospital
Semarang have be done. The purpose of this research is to know examinations
procedure of appendicography in suspect appendicitis and the reasons for
additional plain abdominal image with LLD (left lateral decubitus) projection.
The research is qualitative case study. The research was done by
observations, documentations, interview with familys patient, radiographes and
radiologist in May 2017. The obtained data from this research were analyzed by
using open-codings method.
The result showed that examinations procedure of appendicography in
suspect appendicitis at Radiologi Department of Roemani Muhammadiyahs
Hospital Semarang requires preparation that is 2 days before examination the
patient eat foods low in fiber, then after last dinner patient drinks dulcolax tablets.
After that, patient done lavement used soap water. At 7.00 am patient drinks
contrast media barium sulfate 100 grams which is brewed with 300 cc warm
water. Then, patient allowed eat and drink and be BAB at 1-3 hours after giving
contrast media. The radiographs taken at 7.00 am are plain abdominal image with
AP projection and LLD projection. Then, continued photo done at 5.00 pm with
AP, AP oblique right and AP oblique lefts projection. Additional plain photo
with LLD projection aim to ensure suspicion of contraindication in the patient that
sees boundary between water and air in abdomen which may be ileus and
perforation.
