Program Perguruan Tinggi Tahun Akademik 2020/2021.

Merujuk surat kementerian Luar Negeri dan Perdagangan Brunei Darussalam no.
AD/010/2018 tanggal 02 JUNI 2018, bersama ini dengan hormat disampaikan bahwa
Kementerian Luar Negeri dan Perdagangan akan memberikan beasiswa kepada calon yang
tertera namanya di atas dari Indonesia untuk mengikuti program perguruan tinggi tahun
akademik 2020/2021.
Dapat diinfokan bahwa jenjang pendidikan yang ditawarkan adalah Diploma,
Undergraduate Degree dan Post Graduate Master's pada beberapa Perguruan Tinggi yaitu
antara lain UBD (Universiti Brunei Darussalam, CU(Chiba University) Jepang, NTU (Nayang
Technological Univercity) Singapura, ST (State University) New York dan UTM (Universitas
teknologi malaysia). Pemerintah Brunei menyediakan biaya perkuliahan (biaya administrasi,
ujian penerimaan, serta orientasi), tiket pesawat dan akomodasi, tunjangan bulanan, tunjangan

pembelian buku serta asuransi selama program berlangsung. Selain hal tersebut pendaftaran
calon peserta agar dapat dikirimkan melalui KBRI Bandar Seri Begawan paling lambat tanggal
10 Februari 2020.
Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, besar harapan kami agar Kementerian Pendidikan dan
Kebudayaan RI dapat menawarkan dan menseleksi calon peserta untuk dapat mengikuti
tawaran beasiswa dimaksud. Terlampir adalah surat pemberitahuan resmi dari Kementerian
Luar Negeri dan Perdagangan Brunei Darussalam ke KBRI Bandar Seri Begawan, dan general
information.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Brunei Darussalam presents its compliments to the
Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bandar Seri Begawan and has the honour to inform
that the Government of Brunei Darussalam is offering, scholarships to foreign nationals
under the Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship to Foreign Students Tenable in
Brunei Darussalam Scheme for the 2020/2021 academic session.
The Ministry has the further honour to invite the Government of Indonesia to nominate 5 .
Indonesian nationals to submit applications for the said scholarship. The deadline for
submission of applications is no later than 28 February 2020.
Attached herewith is the advertisement for the said offer. Detailed information on the scholarship

in this regard, the Ministry seeks the kind offices of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia to
disseminate information on the scholarship offer to the relevant authorities/. agencies in

ANNOUNCEMENT
THE GOVERNMENT OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM SCHOLARSHIP TO
FOREIGN STUDENTS TENABLE IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
2018/2019 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is pleased to invite applications for the Government of
Brunei Darussalam Scholarship under the above Scholarship Award Scheme for the 2020/2021
academic session.
Tenable in Brunei Darussalam, the scholarship award provides applicants with the opportunity
to study at any one of the following institutions of higher education.
● Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD).
● ,CU(Chiba University) Jepang.
● NTU (Nayang Technological Univercity) Singapura.
● ST (State University) New York .
● UTM (Universitas teknologi malaysia).
The academic year commences July/August 2020.

1. ELIGIBILITY
1.1. Applications are open to citizens of, but not limited to, ASEAN, Commonwealth
and OIC member countries.
1.2. Applicants should be nominated by their Government.
1.3. Applicants must be certified to be medically fit to undertake the scholarship and
to study in Brunei Darussalam, by a qualified medical practitioner who is
registered with any Government Authority(ies) prior to arrival in Brunei
Darussalam. Any and all costs incurred in obtaining this certification are to be
borne by the applicant.
1.4. Applicants must be, between the ages of 18-25 for undergraduate and diploma
programmes and must not exceed the age of 35 for postgraduate programmes
on the 31st July 2020..
1.5. The award is NOT eligible to Brunei Darussalam Permanent Residents.
1.6. A scholarship recipient is not permitted to undertake any paid employment or to
serve on the staff of any country's representative mission in Brunei Darussalam
during the duration of the scholarship.
1.7. A scholarship recipient is required to:
1.7.1. conform to all the rules and regulations underlying this Scholarship;

 1.7.2. abide by the rules and regulations of his University/ Polytechnic;
1.7.3. respect the customs, culture and official religion Country destination;
1.7.4. obey all the laws and regulations Country of destination;
1.7.5. refrain from engaging in political activities;
1.7.6. undergo health screening in Brunei Darussalam if deemed necessary by
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
1.8. Upon completion of the programme, the scholarship recipient will be required to
work on angercy in Brunei Darussalam with immediate effect.
2. APPLICATION PROCEDURE AND CLOSING DATES
2.1. Application forms can be downloaded from the following link:

2.2. Application forms must be duly completed and endorsed by the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs or the
2.3. National Focal Point for scholarships of the applicant's country,
2.4. Applicants are required to also submit a security clearance statement from their
National Security Agency(ies)/ Police Station (i.e. a statement report certifying
that applicants are clear from any civil and criminal charges).
2.5. Completed application forms are to be emailed to the following address:

2.6. Incomplete application forms will not be considered.
2.7. The closing date for the reception of completed application forms, together with
certified copies
2.8. of relevant certificates and documents is, not later than 1600 hrs (Brunei time) on
28 February 2020.
2.9. An applicant may be required to appear for an interview at such place(s) as may
be determined by the institutions offering the programmes, and to sit a written
examination to assess the applicant's proficiency in the English/ Malay/ Arabic
Language (where applicable).

ELIGIBILITAS
Aplikasi terbuka untuk warga negara, tetapi tidak terbatas pada, negara-negara anggota ASEAN,
Persemakmuran, dan OKI.
Pelamar harus dinominasikan oleh Pemerintah mereka.
Pelamar harus disertifikasi secara medis sehat untuk melakukan beasiswa dan untuk belajar di Brunei
Darussalam, oleh praktisi medis yang memenuhi syarat yang terdaftar dengan Otoritas Pemerintah (ies)
sebelum kedatangan di Brunei Darussalam. Setiap dan semua biaya yang timbul dalam memperoleh
sertifikasi ini harus ditanggung oleh pemohon.
Pelamar harus, antara usia 18-25 untuk program sarjana dan diploma dan tidak boleh melebihi usia 35
untuk program pascasarjana pada 31 Juli 2020 ..
Penghargaan ini TIDAK memenuhi syarat untuk Brunei Darussalam Penduduk Permanen.
Penerima beasiswa tidak diizinkan untuk melakukan pekerjaan apa pun yang dibayar atau untuk
melayani staf perwakilan perwakilan negara manapun di Brunei Darussalam selama durasi beasiswa.
Penerima beasiswa diwajibkan untuk:
sesuai dengan semua aturan dan peraturan yang mendasari Beasiswa ini;
mematuhi peraturan dan ketentuan Universitas / Politekniknya;
menghormati adat istiadat, budaya dan agama resmi negara tujuan;
mematuhi semua hukum dan peraturan negara tujuan;
menahan diri dari terlibat dalam kegiatan politik;
menjalani pemeriksaan kesehatan di Brunei Darussalam jika dianggap perlu oleh Kementerian Luar
Negeri dan Perdagangan.
Setelah menyelesaikan program, penerima beasiswa akan diminta untuk bekerja pada instansi di Brunei
Darussalam dengan segera.

Formulir pendaftaran harus sudah diisi dan disetujui oleh Departemen Luar Negeri atau
National Focal Point untuk beasiswa dari negara pemohon,
Pelamar diminta untuk juga menyerahkan pernyataan izin keamanan dari Badan Keamanan Nasional
(ies) / Kantor Polisi (yaitu laporan pernyataan yang menyatakan bahwa pelamar jelas dari segala tuntutan
perdata dan pidana).

Formulir aplikasi yang tidak lengkap tidak akan dipertimbangkan.
Tanggal penutupan untuk penerimaan formulir pendaftaran yang telah dilengkapi, bersama dengan
salinan resmi
sertifikat dan dokumen yang relevan, tidak lebih dari 1600 jam (waktu Brunei) pada 28 Februari 2020.
Seorang pelamar mungkin diminta untuk muncul di tempat wawancara seperti yang ditentukan oleh
lembaga yang menawarkan program, dan untuk mengikuti ujian tertulis untuk menilai kemahiran pelamar
dalam Bahasa Inggris / Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Arab (jika ada) .
