ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh buku cerita anak terhadap hasil
belajar IPS. Desain penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experiment Design dengan metode
pretest posttest one group design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD
Negeri 10 Sanur, Kecamatan Denpasar selatan, Provinsi Bali, Tahun Pelajaran
2017/2018 pada semester genap. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar IPS didapatkan dari
pretest dan posttest. Pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan menerapkan buku cerita anak
yang berjudul “Toga Penyelamat” dengan lima tahap yaitu merumuskan masalah,
membuat hipotesis, mengumpulkan data, menginterpretasikan data, serta membuat
simpulan. Hasil perhitungan uji-t hasil belajar siswa, diperoleh t hitung > ttabel dengan
thitung = 3,677 dan ttabel = 2,000. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat
disimpulkan bahwa buku cerita anak bernuansa budaya lokal dengan judul “Toga
Penyelamat”dapat berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPS pada subtema Lingkungan
Sehat kelas V Sekolah Dasar.
This study purpose is to find out the children's books of learning social science. The
design of this research is Quasi Experiment Design with pretest posttest one group
design method. The sample of this research is the fifth grade students of SD Negeri
10 Sanur, South Denpasar District, Province of Bali, Year 2017/2018 on second
semester. The collection of data learning outcomes Social science is derived from
pretest and posttest. Learning is done by applying a children's story book entitled
"Toga Penyelamat" with five stages of formulating problems, making hypotheses,
collecting data, interpreting data, and making conclusions. The result of t-test
calculation of student learning result, obtained tcount> ttable with tcount = 3,677 and
ttable = 2,000. Based on the results of research conducted can be concluded that
children's story book with local cultural titles "Toga Penyelamat" can affect the
results of social science learning on the theme of Healthy Environment on fifth grade
of Primary School.
