jumlah produks defined as: AFC = TFC / Q. An average fixed cost schedule has been added
to the diagram
below.
Average variable cost (AVC) is iaya variabel rata-rata dalah biaya variabel total dibagi
dengan jumlah produks defined as: AVC = TVC / Q.
Average total cost (ATC) is defined Biaya total rata-rata adalah biaya total dibagi dengan
jumlah produksi as: ATC = TC / Q. Note that ATC can also be measured as: ATC = AVC +
AFC (since TC=TFC+TVC, TC/Q = TFC/Q + TVC/Q).
• Karena itulah biaya relevan dalam jangka panjang adalah biaya total, biaya
variabel, biaya rata-rata dan biaya marginal
c. Biaya rata-rata adaalah biaya total dibagi jumlah output. Ditunjukkan dengan
rumus :
LAC = LTC / Q
Dimana : LAC = Biaya rata-rata jangka panjang
Q = Jumlah Output

Analisis Biaya Jangka Panjang (Long-run average cost atau
LAC)
• Proses produksi yang sudah tidak menggunakan input tetap,
seluruh biaya produksi adalah variabel.
• Perilaku biaya produksi jangka panjang; keputusan penggunaan
input variabel oleh perusahaan dalam jangka pendek.
• Fungsi biaya jangka panjang; Biaya rata-rata jangka panjang
(LAC), Biaya marjinal jangka panjang (LMC), yang diperoleh dari
biaya total jangka panjang (LTC).

Long-run costs
In the long run, all inputs are variable. As the firm changes the amount of capital it uses,
it will shift from one short-run average
total cost curve (SRATC) to another. The long-run average total cost curve (LRATC)
represents the lowest level of average cost that can occur in the long run at each
possible level of output.
Diseconomies of scale, factors that result in higher levels of LRATC as output increase, are believed to be
important at high levels of output. These factors include the increased cost of managing and coordinating a firm
as the size of the firm rises.
Constant returns to scale occur when LRATC does not change when the firm becomes larger or smaller
