KETERAMPILAN DISIPLIN MENYELESAIKAN TUGAS DI SEKOLAH DENGAN

Tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah untuk menghasilkan Prototipe-1,
“Pengembangan Panduan Peningkatan Keterampilan DisiplinMenyelesaikanTugas di
SekolahdenganGoal Setting bagi Siswa SMP” berdasarkan hasil kajian empirik dan kajian
teoritik yang selanjutnya siap untuk diuji validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifannya.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and
Development), namun pengaplikasiannya hanya sampai padalangkah penelitian dan
pengembangan ke tiga yang berwujud prototipe-1. Peneliti menggunakan hasil studi
pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan oleh Mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling, FKIP UNS
angkatan 2012 berupa data kebutuhan dan kepentingan siswa se eks-karesidenan Surakarta
(Subjek eksplorasi adalah siswa, guru BK, dan orang tua). Selain hasil studi pendahuluan
peneliti juga menggunakan data hasil studi lapangan yang dilakukan pada dua sekolah
berbeda.
Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah sebagai berikut. Pertama, kajian
empirik memuat dua hasil studi yaitu studi pendahuluan dan studi lapangan. Kedua studi di
atas menunjukan bahwa keterampilan disiplinmenyelesaikantugas di sekolah sangat
dibutuhkan dan sangat penting bagi siswa sekaligus perlu dibuat panduan peningkatan
keterampilan disiplinmenyelesaikantugas di sekolah. Kedua, kajian teoritik yang didapat
melalui studi kepustakaan yaitu pengertian disiplinmenyelesaikantugas di sekolah, faktor yang
mempengaruhi disiplinmenyelesaikantugas di sekolah, aspek-
aspekdisiplinmenyelesaikantugas di sekolah, indikator dalamdisiplinmenyelesaikantugas di
sekolah, pengertian teknikgoal setting, prinsip, teknikgoal setting dan implementasiteknikgoal
setting.
Berdasarkan kajian empirik dan teoritik di atas dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa perlu
dibuat panduan tentang peningkatan keterampilan disiplinmenyelesaikantugas di
sekolahdengangoal settingbagi siswa SMP yang siap di uji secara validitas, kepraktisan, dan
keefektifan. Panduan tersebut terdiri dari dua buku, yaitu Buku Panduan dan Lembar Kerja
Siswa.

This research was aimed to produce Prototype-1 for “Development of discipline skill
enhancement guidelines of task completion at school with goal setting for junior high school
student” based on theoretical studies and empirical studies which are then ready to be tested
for their validity, practicality and effectiveness.
This research used the research and development method but the application was only
reached the third stage of research step and development which resulting Prototype-1. The
researcher used the preliminary study results that had been doing by the class of 2012 from
Guidance and Counseling of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret
University that consist data of student needs and importance (the subject of the exploration is
the student, counsellor teacher, and the parents of the student) of Surakarta and the
surroundings. Aside from the results of preliminary study, this research also used data from
field study results that had been doing at the two different schools.
The results from this research and development were as follows. Firstly, the empiric
study contains two study results, they are preliminary study and field study. Both of the study
shows that the discipline skill enhancement guidelines of task completion at school is highly
needed and very important for the student, also the discipline skill enhancement guidelines of
task completion at school is need to be made at once. Secondly, the results of theoretical study
gained from literature review were as follows. They are definition of discipline skill of task
completion at school, factor that affect the discipline skill of task completion at school, aspects
of discipline skill of task completion at school, indicator of the discipline skill of task
completion at school, definition of goal setting technique, principle, goal setting technique,
and goal setting technique implementation.
Based on the empiric and theoretical study above, can be concluded that discipline
skill enhancement guidelines of task completion at school with goal setting for junior high
school student which are ready to be tested for their validity, practicality and effectiveness are
need to be made. Those guidelines consist of two books, which are Guidelines book and
Students Worksheet (LKS).
