 Menganalisis pembelajaran suggestion dan offer

1. Defenition of suggestion
Suggestion is suggesting neew ideas or proposals for a thing / plan.

Example:

 Let’s olay futsal?

 Why don’t we go swimming?
 Shall we go shopping?
 What / how about going fishing instead?

2. Defenition of offer

Offer is offering help or something to others.

Example:

 Shall I make you some tea?

 Would you like me to give you a ride?

3. Example of a suggestion and offering coversation

 Stomach ache

A: hey, you look not well. Are you okey?

B: my stomach hurts
A: do you need anything. Like a midichine for a stomach ache.
B: yes, please. I need a medicine for a stomachache.
A: I will get that for you.
B: thank you
5 minutes later..........
A: there is no medicine for upset stomach in aour medicine storage box,
but I bring this eucalyptus oil for you. Just rub it on your belly. It can ease
the pain.
B: thanks
A: if the pain persists, you should see a doctor.
B: okey.. thank ypu very much.

 Fungsi dan kegunaan suggestion and offer

A . asking for suggestion

Ada banyak ungkapan yang dapat di gunakan untuk meminta

saran, salah satu caranya adakah dengan menggunakan kata shall yang
berarti akan atau sebaliknya.

Shall I / we / verb 1
Contoh:
-shall we go to home early?
-shall I apologize to her?

B . giving suggestion
Salah satu cara untuk memberikan saran adalah dengan
menggunakan kata could yang berarti bisa atau dapat atau might yang
berarati atau mungkin / boleh.

Contoh :
 -you could go home early.
-you could find a new job.

C. accepting a suggestion
Pada saat kita setuju dan menerima saran yang didiberikan oleh
seseorang kita dapat mengatakan:
Sound great.
Sound good to me.
Let’s do that.

D . declining a suggestion
Pada saat kita tidak setuju dan menganggap saran yang di berikan
kurang bagus, kita dapat mengatakan:
Offer is offering help or something to others.

Maybe some other time.

I dom;t think it;s good idea.

E. giving offer
Beberapa contoh ungkapan memberikan tawaran yang dapat kita
gunakan adalah sebagai berikut:
Would you like + noun / to invinitive
Example:
Would you like a glass of orange juice?
Would you like to go to the cinema with me?

F. accepying an offer
Apabila kita ingin menerima tawaran seseorang kita dapat
mengatakan:
Yes.i’d love to
Sure, thank you
Yes please, thank you.

G. declining an offer
 Apabila kita ingin menolak tawaran seseorang sebaiknya kita
menolak dengan halus dan sopan, contohnya kita dapat mengatakan:

I’m sorry I can’t.

Thank you,but i’m not hungry / thristy

I’d love to but....

 Percakapan tentang memberikan informasi tentang

saran dan tawaran dengan kata should and can.

Dialogue:

Riri : hi.. dude, what happened to you?

Rara : it’s fine , i just lost my phone.

Riri : what??? Are you sure you lost it there?

Rara : yeah..positive. what should I do?

Riri : well you should report to the school.

Rara : I did.

Riri: oh ok, then you should concact apple store to block your number and track
it down.

Riri : okey, but is it really possible for it now?

Rara: yes, oh another one.you shouldn’t be doing nothing now, do it now
