ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang (Introduction): covid-19 merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh
sindrom pernafasan akut Coronavirus 2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2
atau SARS-CoV-2. Virus ini dapat menyerang sistem pernafasan pada manusia yang ditandai
seperti penyakit flu, MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome dan SARS (severe acute
respiratory syndrome).
Metode : jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif , dengan rancangan penelitian Total Sampling.
Jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh ibu yang memiliki anak usia 6-12 tahun di Kp.
Gerang RW 05 yang berjumlah 27 orang. Instrument yang di gunakan untuk mengetahui
gambaran pengetahuan ibu dalam pencegahan covid-19 di peroleh dari kuisioner. Analisa
bivariate menggunakan uji descriptive statistic dan frequencie.
Hasil : gambaran pengetahuan ibu dalam pencegahan covid-19 yaitu sebanyak 27 responden
terdapat 25 responden dengan presentase (92.6%) memiliki kategori cukup dan 2 responden
dengan presentase (7.4%) memiliki kategori baik. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari data
dan hasil penelitian , peneliti menganalisa bahwa mayoritas pengetahuan responden cukup.
Simpulan dan saran : berdasarkan hasil penelitian pengetahuan ibu dalam pencegahan covid-
19 di Kp. Gerang rw 05 Desa Citapen Kecamatan Bandung Barat sudah cukup. Hasil
penelitin diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi bagi peneliti selanjutnya yang
berkaitan dengan pengetahuan pencegahan covid-19.

ABSTRACT

Background (Introduction): covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by severe acute

respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 or
SARS-CoV-2. This virus can attack the respiratory system in humans, which is characterizing
as flu, MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) and SARS (severe acute respiratory
syndrome).
Method : this type of research is descriptive, with a research design of Total Sampling. The
number of samples used are is mothers who have children aged 6-12 years in Kp. Gerang
RW 05 totaling 27 people. The instrument used to describe the mother's knowledge in
preventing covid-19 was obtained from a questionnaire. Bivariate analysis using descriptive
statistic and frequency test.
Results : a description of the mother's knowledge in preventing covid-19, as many as 27
respondents, there are 25 respondents with a percentage (92.6%) having a sufficient category
and 2 respondents with a percentage (7.4%) having a good category. So it can be concluded
that from the data and research results, the researcher analyzed that the majority of
respondents' knowledge was sufficient.
Conclusions and suggestions : based on the results of research on mother's knowledge in
preventing covid-19 in Kp. Gerang rw 05 Citapen Village, West Bandung District is enough.
The results of the study are expected to be used as a reference for further researchers related
to the knowledge of COVID-19 prevention.
