Hubungan Motivasi Perawat Dengan Keterampilan Perawat Dalam Penerapan EWS

(Early Warning Score) di RS Islam Ibnu Sina Yarsi Bukittinggi Tahun 2021

ABSTRAK

Kematian nomor satu di dunia disebabkan oleh henti jantung. Jika pelaksanaan EWS ini tidak
diterapkan dengan baik, maka dapat menyebabkan tingginya angka kematian karena kejadian
henti jantung tidak dapat diprediksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan
Motivasi Perawat Dengan Keterampilan Perawat Dalam Penerapan EWS (Early Warning
Score) di RS Islam Ibnu Sina Yarsi Bukittinggi Tahun 2021. Desain penelitian menggunakan
metode Deskriptif Korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Yang dilakukan selama
2 minggu dari tanggal 12 juli - 19 Juli 2021 di RS Islam Ibnu Sina Yarsi Bukittinggi, jumlah
sampel penelitian sebanyak 40 orang, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling.
Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi kuesioner dan data di olah secara
univariate dan bivariate. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh hasil lebih dari separoh 26 orang
(65%) responden memiliki motivasi tinggi, lebih dari separoh 25 orang (62,5%) responden
memiliki keterampilan perawat dalam penerapan EWS (Early Warning Score) baik.
Disimpulkan bahwa adanya Hubungan Motivasi Perawat Dengan Keterampilan Perawat
Dalam Penerapan EWS (Early Warning Score) di RS Islam Ibnu Sina Yarsi Bukittinggi
Tahun 2021. Oleh karena itu kepada rumah sakit dapat mengagendakan pelatihan atau
penyuluhan tentang penerapan EWS selama sebulan sekali yang bertujuan untuk
meningkatkan motivasi dan keterampilan perawat dalam penerepan EWS (Early Warning
Score).

The Relationship between Nurse Motivation and Nurse Skills in the Implementation of EWS
(Early Warning Score) at Ibnu Sina Yarsi Islamic Hospital, Bukittinggi in 2021

ABSTRACT

The number one death in the world is caused by cardiac arrest. If the implementation of the
EWS is not implemented properly, it can lead to high mortality rates due to unpredictable
cardiac arrest. This study aims to determine the relationship between nurses' motivation and
nurses' skills in the application of EWS (Early Warning Score) at Ibnu Sina Yarsi Islamic
Hospital, Bukittinggi in 2021. The research design used a descriptive correlation method
with a cross sectional study approach. Which was carried out for 2 weeks from July 12 - July
19, 2021 at the Ibnu Sina Yarsi Islamic Hospital in Bukittinggi, the number of research
samples was 40 people, with a total sampling technique of sampling. The research instrument
used a questionnaire observation sheet and the data were processed univariate and bivariate.
In this study, more than half of 26 people (65%) of respondents had high motivation, more
than half of 25 people (62.5%) of respondents had good nurse skills in the application of
EWS (Early Warning Score). It was concluded that there was a relationship between the
motivation of nurses and the skills of nurses in the application of EWS (Early Warning Score)
at the Ibnu Sina Yarsi Islamic Hospital, Bukittinggi in 2021. Therefore, the hospital could
schedule training or counseling on the application of EWS once a month which aims to
increase motivation and nurses' skills in implementing EWS (Early Warning Score).
