ABSTRACT
The design of this study using a quantitative approach. This study uses a
descriptive correlational design, aims to describe the variables studied then look
for the relationships that exist between the related variables. The population of
this research is S1 student of PTI UM 2014 as many as 105 obtained 80 samples
and previously taken as many as 25 samples. Data collection techniques used are
questionnaires and documentation. Research data is analyzed by descriptive
analysis and regression analysis. Data analysis is done with the help of SPSS
software version 21.0 for Windows.
Based on the results of research that has been done there is a significant
and positive relationship between learning achievement and the ability of teacher
to support Employability Skills S1 student of Informatics Engineering UM.
Students 'learning achievement of undergraduate program of Informatics
Engineering Education is related to teacher's ability to support students'
employability skill. Higher learning achievement also shows high teacher's ability
level and high student employability skill as well. When students have strong
learning achievements they will be confident of their ability, always optimistic
about their expectations and abilities, responsible and thinking realistically to the
problems that exist and always trying to try to do the best. High learning
achievement makes the students are not easy to despair when there are obstacles
and obstacles facing them.
