KEMUHAMMADIYAHAN LEARNING TO THE STUDENTS’S MORAL OF
MUHAMMADIYAH SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS IN MEDAN, Post Graduate Thesis IAIN
SU Medan, 2011.
This thesis aims to know the number of correlation between the Al Islam and
Kemuhammadiyahan learning to the student’s moral of Muhammadiyah senior high schools
in Medan. The population of this thesis were all the 12’th students of four units of
Muhammadiyah Senior High Schools in Medan amount to 199 people in school year 2010-
2011. Using that students as subject of research in reasons of whom have been studying as
long as two years . To decide the sample amount based on using formula of Krejcie Morgan
tables, so that was found amount to 133 people.

Data collector use the questioner closed with the scale Likert. The questioner
compiled by pursuant to variable indicator and then was consulted to The Research
Consultant, and hereinafter was instrument testing to the student’s which is not research
responder. After instrument test and from calculation result known the valid instrument
expressed for X1 variable consist of 24 item, for X2 variable amount to 28 item, and for Y
variable amount to 28 item.
Analysis technique the data to have the use of the descriptive statistical analysis for
explanation of data and statistical inferential for examination of hypothesis. Test the
conditions analysis the variable data of the Al Islam subject learning, the variable data of the
Kemuhammadiyahan subject learning and the variable data of the student’s moral, known
that entire variable have normal distribution so that can be examine with the examination
linier correlation. From result test the linier correlation, known the regression of variable the
Al Islam subject learning with the variable of the student’s moral is linier and the regression
of variable the Kemuhammadiyahan subject learning with the variable of the student’s moral
is also linier at significant value α = 0,05.
The research was finding: (1) There are positive and significant relation of the Al
Islam subject learning with the student’s moral of Muhammadiyah senior high schools in
Medan. It means that when the Al Islam subject learning have improved would have made
the improvement of the students moral of Muhammadiyah senior high schools in Medan with
effective contribution statistically amount to 13,20%.(2) There are positive and significant
relation of the Kemuhammadiyahan subject learning with the student’s moral of
Muhammadiyah senior high schools in Medan. It means that when the Kemuhammadiyahan
subject learning have improved would have made the improvement of the student’s moral of
Muhammadiyah senior high schools in Medan with effective contribution statistically amount
to 10,50%,(3) There are positive and significant relation of the both the Al Islam subject and
the Kemuhammadiyahan subject learning altogether with the student’s moral of
Muhammadiyah senior high schools in Medan. It means that the improvement of both would
have made the improvement of the student’s moral of Muhammadiyah senior high schools in
Medan with effective contribution statistically amount to 17,10 %.
