SELF INTRODUCTION
A. Capaian Pembelajaran

Menyimak dan berbicara:

Pada akhir fase E, peserta didik menggunakan bahasa Inggris untuk
berkomunikasi dengan guru, teman sebaya dan orang lain dalam berbagai
macam situasi dan tujuan. Mereka menggunakan dan merespon pertanyaan
dan menggunakan strategi untuk memulai dan mempertahankan
percakapan dan diskusi. Mereka memahami dan mengidentifikasi ide utama
dan detail relevan dari diskusi atau presentasi mengenai topik yang dekat
dengan kehidupan pemuda. Mereka menggunakan bahasa Inggris untuk
menyampaikan opini terhadap isu yang dekat dengan kehidupan pemuda
dan untuk membahas minat. Mereka memberikan pendapat dan membuat
perbandingan. Mereka menggunakan elemen non-verbal seperti bahasa
tubuh, kecepatan bicara, dan nada suara untuk dapat dipahami dalam
sebagian konteks.

B. Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran

Mengidentifikasi fungsi sosial, struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan dari teks
transaksional lisan yang melibatkan ungkapan tentang pemaparan jati diri
dengan tingkat kelancaran dan ketepatan yang optimal.

C. The meaning of Self Introduction

A Self Introduction explains that who you are, what you do, what others want
to know about you. A self-introduction are he first phrases we say when we
meet someone new.

D. The purpose of Self Introduction

A Self Introduction is to introduce about you to someone new / others that
you still don’t know about them.

F. Ciri Kebahasaan
Pronoun adalah kata ganti

Beberapa macam kata ganti atau Pronoun

1. Subject Pronoun berfungsi sebagai kata ganti subject dalam kalimat.
(I, we, they, you, he, she, it).
Example : she is buy a new jacket.
2. Object pronoun berfungsi sebagai kata ganti object dalam kalimat.
( me, us, them, you, him, her, it ).
Example : - This is for them.
- Mary saw him on the street.
3. Posessive after noun berfungsi sebagai kata ganti yang menunjukan
sebagai kepemilikan.
( mine, our, their, yours, his, her, its ).
Example : This book is mine, but that one on the table is yours.
4. The possessive before noun sama juga dengan possessive after noun
yang memiliki fungsi sebagai kata ganti milik.
( my, his, her, out, their, its, your )
Example : This is my book. Where is your book?

G. Example Self Introduction

Ryan: “Hi, are you new in this neighborhood? I’ve never seen you before.”
Dean: “Ohh Hi... I just move in yesterday. I’m Dean Marcello. You can call me Dean.”
Ryan: “Nice to know you Dean. I’m Ryan. I live next to your house.”
Dean: “It looks like nice environment here.”
Ryan: “Yes, you are right. I’ve been living here in the last six years.”
Dean: “Oh wow..., by the way, what do you do for living?”
Ryan: “I’m a doctor. I work in hospital around here. How about you?”
Dean: “I’m a lecturer in NY University.”
Ryan: “Nice, a young lecturer. Are you married?”
Dean: “Not yet. I’m focus to my career now.”
Ryan: “I see. Well, I have three daughters.”
Dean: “Amazing”
Ryan: “Yea. Come to my house tonight. My wife will cook dinner for you.”
Dean: “Thank you so much.”
Ryan: “See you tonight.”
Dean: “See you.”
