bahasa Inggris, kita menyebutnya sebagai

Kita semua pasti pernah atau akan mengalami saat di mana kita harus memperkenalkan diri kita
secara lengkap agar orang lain bisa tahu identitas kita. Misalnya saat menjadi murid baru di
sekolah atau saat bertemu dengan orang yang baru kita kenal.
Nah, dalam bahasa Inggris sebelum kita memperkenalkan diri ada beberapa kalimat yang bisa
kita ucapkan, di antaranya :
Jadi sekarang kalian sudah paham ya bahwa untuk memperkenalkan diri kalian bisa terlebih
dahulu mengucapkan “I’d like to introduce myself” atau semacamnya dan hal-hal yang bisa
disebutkan saat perkenalan diri diantaranya :

➢ Umur (age)
➢ Sekolah (class, school)
➢ Keluarga (family)
➢ kegemaran (hobby)
➢ Dan masih banyak lagi

Kalimat “You can call me Ismi.” artinya “Kamu bisa memanggil saya Ismi.” Kalimat
tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Ismi adlah nama panggilan. Berarti “Ismi Proyanti
Diar” merupakan nama lengkap dari Ismi. Untuk menyampaikan nama lengkap
dapat menggunakan “My full name is …. /My complete name is ….”.

Selain memperkenalkan diri sendiri, ada juga saatnya ketika kita harus memperkenalkan
seseorang kepada orang lain. Misalnya saat kita ingin memperkenalkan saudara kita kepada
teman kita dengan tujuan agar mereka bisa saling mengenal satu sama lain.
Nah, dalam bahasa Inggris sebelum kita memperkenalkan seseorang ada beberapa kalimat
yang juga bisa kita ucapkan, di antaranya :

Kata ganti yang berfungsi sebagai subjek (subject) dan diletakkan sebelum kata kerja

Kata ganti yang berfungsi sebagai objek (object) dan diletakkan setelah kata kerja (verb)

Merupakan kata ganti kepunyaan atau kepemilikan yang tidak bisa berdiri sendiri

5. Possessive Subject
Kata ganti yang menunjukkan suatu kepunyaan dan tidak bisa berdiri sendiri atau
harus diikuti dengan kata benda (noun) atau nama orang.
Berfungsi sebagai objek dari sebuah kata kerja di mana objek tersebut merujuk
langsung kepada subjeknya. Dengan kata lain subjek dan objek tersebut merupakan
orang atau benda yang sama.

1. Subject Pronoun : Diletakkan sebelum kata kerja (I, You, We, They, She, He, It).
2. Object Pronoun : Diletakkan setelah kata kerja ( Me, You, Us, Them, Her, Him, it).
3. Possessive Pronoun : Menunjukkan suatu kepemilikan dan bisa berdiri sendiri (Mine, Yours,
Ours, Theirs, Hers, His, Its).
4. Possessive Adjective : Menunjukkan suatu kepemilikan dan penulisannya harus diikuti oleh
kata benda (My, Your, Our, Their, Her, His, Its).
