Teknik analisis kimia yang
menggabungkan kemampuan
pemisahan fisik dari kromatografi cair
(HPLC) dengan kemampuan analisis
massa dari spektrometri massa.
PRINSIP
KERJA 02
LC-MS adalah dua alat yang
digabungkan menjadi satu yang
berfungsi untuk memisahkan
beberapa senyawa atau campuran
senyawa berdasarkan kepolarannya
(prinsip kerja LC), dimana setelah
campuran senyawa tersebut
terpisah, maka senyawa yang murni
tersebut akan diidentifikasi berat
molekulnya (MS).

yang masih hidup.[2] Beberapa contoh narkotik
yang sering dideteksi dengan LC-MS adalah 
mfetamin, morfin, kodein, dan kokain.[
