PENGERTIAN
Spektroskopi adalah ilmu yang mempelajari tentang materi dan
aributnya berdasarkan cahaya, suara atau partikel yang
dipancarkan, diserap atau dipantulkan oleh materi tersebut.
PRINSIP DASAR

Dasar dari spektroskopi adalah interaksi energi

radiasi elektromagnetik dengan materi.

Hasil interaksinya: absorpsi, emisi, luminisensi dan

penghamburan (scattering).

2 karakter radiasi elektromagnetik :

1. Sebagi gelombang (bisa bergerak)

2. Sebagai partikel (mempunyai energi)

■ Kuvet kotor/tergores

■ Penempatan kuvet yang tidak tepat posisinya
■ Ukuran kuvet tidak seragam
■ Adanya gelombang udara/gas dalam lintasan radiasi
■ Gelombang yang dihasilkan tidak cocok dengan yang tertera pda
instrumen
■ Kurang teliti dalam penyiapan sampel.
