Struktur Inti Atom

Atom terdiri inti atom yang tersusun dari

proton yang bermuatan positif dan netron
yang tidak bermuatan, inti atom dikelilingi
elektron yang bermuatan negatif

 Atomic Masses
• Berdasarkan Model atom Bohr, telah diketahui
bahwa inti atom menempati daerah yang sangat
kecil, namun sekitar 99,9 persen massa atom
terdapat pada inti atom. Massa atom merupakan
massa atom netral, bukan massa inti saja sehingga
massa elektron juga mempengaruhi massa atom.
Massa atom dinyatakan dengan satuan massa (u).
 Netron
• Partikel tak bermuatan yang menempati
elektron
• Massa Netron hampir sama dengan massa
proton
• Netron dapat meluruh menjadi proton,
elektron dan antineutrino
 Inti Stabil
