PENDAHULUAN
Perkembangan zaman semakin modern serta pembangunan telah meningkatkan
kualitas hidup manusia. Hal ini memiliki pengaruh buruk terhadap kondisi
lingkungan. Pada jurnal ini, dikatakan bahwa salah satu penyebab terjadinya
pencemaran pada perairan yaitu masuknya logam berat ke dalam perairan
melalui limbah cair dan padat dari industri dan antropogenik dalam jumlah
banyak. Logam berat ini berdampak negatif bagi kesehatan manusia dan
ekosistem di air. Penelitian pada jurnal ini banyak merujuk ke beberapa
penelitian yang telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pengukuran nilai
suseptibilitas. Pada jurnal ini juga dijelaskan bahwa DAS Batang Arau sudah
tercemar akibat meningkatnya kosentrasi polutan dari berbagai kegiatan
industri, lingkungan pemukiman, pasar, bengkel dan lainnya.

Nilai yang didapat dari persamaan diatas digunakan untuk

menentukan seberapa besar pengaruh bulir superparamagnetik
pada sampel dan untuk mengetahui sumber mineral magnetik
berasal dari pedogenik, litogenik atau antropogenik. Kemudian
dilakukan analisis pengaruh posisi terhadap nilai suseptibilitas
magnetik, tingkat pencemaran logam berat berdasarkan nilai
suseptibilitas magnetik dan sumber sedimen sungai berdasarkan
scattergram.

 HASIL
Dari tabel diatas mdapat dilihat bahwa titik sampel P2, P5, P6, P7, P8, P10 dan
P11 termasuk kategori tercemar rendah karena nilai suspetibilitasnya kurang
dari 300 x 10-8/kg.m. Titik sampel P1, P3, P9,P15, P16, P17 dan P20 termasuk
dalam kategori tercemar sedang karena posisi ini berada di lokasi yang cukup
padat penduduk namun banyak aktivitas yang dilakukan. Sedangkan titik
sampel P4, P12, P13, P14, P18 dan P19 termasuk ke dalam akategori tercemar
tinggi.
