Berkomunikasi Melalui Matematika
Kalimat matematika yang memiliki nilai
kebenaran disebut pernyataan
(Statement) yaitu bernilai benar atau
salah,tetapi tidak keduanya

Tujuh ditambah tiga sama dengan sepuluh, ditulis 7+3 =10,

01  Pernyataan tersebut memiliki nilai kebenara, yaitu bernilai benar

lima besar dari tujuh, ditulis 5 > 7

02  Pernyataan tersebut memiliki nilai kebenaran, yaitu bernilai salah

 Kita sering mendengar ungkapan kalimat bernilai negative,
misalnya”Tidak benar saya melakukan itu” untkapan
tersebut merupakan bentuk negasi atau ingkaran

Misalkan diberikan pernyataan P

Ingkaran dari P dapat dibentuk dengan menuliskan”tidak
benar bahwa p atau dengan menyisipkan kata tidak dalam”p”
yaitu p ditulis
Unit 2:
Ingkaran(Negasi) Apabila B menyatakan Benar (True) dan S menyatakan Salah (False) maka tabel
kebenaran dari sebuah ingkaran adalah sebagai berikut
