PROYEK MEIKARTA

PENDAHULUAN
merupakan proyek besar berupa
kota mandiri atau kota terencana
yang dibangun oleh PT Lippo
Karawaci Tbk melalui anak
perusahaannya yang bernama PT
Mahkota Sentosa Utama.
Proyek kota mandiri ini terletak
di dekat Jalan Tol Jakarta-
Cikampek, tepatnya di Kota
Cikarang Selatan, Bekasi, Jawa
Barat
Meikarta merupakan mega proyek
yang direncanakan akan dibuat
kota mandiri baru dengan luas
lahan mencapai 500 hektar.
Estimasi pembangunan Meikarta
bahkan mencapai Rp 243 triliun.
ISI
Pembangunan megaproyek Meikarta menemui beberapa
hambatan. Ada banyak kontroversi yang terjadi
mengiringi pembangunan tersebut. Setelah menuai
kontroversi dari berbagai pihak lantaran izin yang belum
didapat, proyek Meikarta juga tersandung kasus suap
OTT KPK.
Sembilan orang ditetapkan sebagai tersangka kasus dugaan suap
pemberian izin proyek pembangunan Meikarta di Kabupaten
Bekasi. KPK menyelidiki kasus ini hampir setahun sejak ada
laporan dari masyarakat.
Commitment fee dalam kasus suap dari pihak Meikarta ini
sejumlah Rp 13 miliar. Namun realisasi pemberian suap yang
sudah diberikan sekitar Rp 7 miliar.
