Masa demokrasi parlementer adalah masa ketika perintah Indonesia
Menggunakan UUDS 1950(undang-undang dasar sementara) sebagai
Undang-undang negara.masa demokrasi parlementer di sebut pula
Masa demokrasi Liberal karena sistem politik dan ekonomi yang ber-
Laku menggunakan prinsip-prinsip liberal.masa ini berlangsung mulai
17 Agustus 1950 sampai 6 Juli 1959.
1. Perkembangan politik

A.sistem pemerintahan

Menurut UUDS 1950, pemerintah Republik Indonesia menganut

sistem demokrasi Liberal.dalam demokrasi liberal
Berlaku sistem kabinet parlementer, artinya pemerintahan di
Pegang oleh perdana menteri dan menteri-menterinya
bertanggung jawab pada parlemen atau DPR
Dengan berlakunya kabinet parlementer pemerintahan Republik
Indonesia tidak stabil.hal ini di sebabkan antara lain:

A.partai politik mementingkan kepentingan golongan masing-masing

sehingga kabinet jatuh bangun

B. Partai politik tidak mencerminkan dukungan rakyat

pemilih

C. partai politik yang berkuasa tidak dapat melaksanakan

programnya,sebab masa kerja kabinet pendek
